Staff helpful and pleasant enough but everything else is a big let down. Food's expensive and lacklustre. Sauces dreadful gloop. Should be MUCH better than the mass catering churn out that it clearly is. Shame for the staff that they are let down by the corporate behemoth behind them
Friendly staff. Well cooked and presented food. Nice and spacious
Originally gave 4 stars, but dropping it to 2 after the meal last night. The first thing we were advised on was the fish fryer was not functioning, therefore a fair amount of the menu was unavailable. This wasn't an issue for us as we had no interest in the unavailable items. Everything started great, had refilled soft drinks straight after our flatbread garlic bread starter which was delicious. We both fancied burgers and decided to half-and-half them at the table, so ordered a crunchy chicken burger and a beef burger. While both were tasty, the chicken burger looked cremated on the outside. Not very appetising at all. The beef burger was cooked perfectly, although missing the "side of BBQ sauce" as described on the menu. We had 8 onion rings as a side between us which went down alot better for the £2.99 they cost, while the cobs were an absolute rip off consisting of 2 small cobs, maybe 4 corn wide, and claiming to be "fried in spices" were clearly just boiled and fried for 10 seconds prior to being served. Unfortunately slightly overcooked but no flavour and the content available was atrocious. Alongside this, there was quite a gap between starter and main, it was clear upon their arrival that our mains had been sitting for a short while before being served, which meant the chips weren't the warmest. The special Churros for desert were nice, although slightly overcooked. All in all, even with a discount on our mains and refillable soft drinks, this felt like an expensive meal for substandard quality.
Went here for breakfast with my family and was impressed with their breakfast selection. There was a continental offering and lots of choice of cereal, yoghurt and fruit on offer. The cooked English breakfast was the star though. Pick what you want and as much as you want for a modest £9.50. Staff were excellent. One thing to watch though, you MUST enter your vehicle registration upon entering to validate your parking. All in all, very impressed. I will be back
Food okay but not particularly well presented. Atmosphere quiet but it was lunchtime. Place could do with a spruce up internally especially carpets and decoration.Food: 3/5
Served by Karen and Abbi today. Great value for money on kids menu. Service was excellent as always. Good food too. Kid-friendliness: Menu is good 5.99 for 3 course Parking: Always spaces in the car park
Booked for Sunday Lunch ,arrived at 2.30pm to be advised there was no beef, no chicken and no fish as fryer was broken, felt sorry for hardworking staff... seems ran down and no heating on, far too cold to sit and eat a meal. POOR AT BEST.Food: 2/5
Delicious food. Great lunch time deal menu with wide variety of food choices. Chose steak ciabatta and chocolate Browney. Warm welcome and not rushed. Shout out to Tracey and James, and the person who cooked my food - all whom delivered the goods under pressure on a half term lunch time.
We had Christmas Lunch here with 4 Adults & 1 child gluten free. I'd like to say we all had a great time with service & food being excellent, also we would like to thank the staff for them making it a brilliant day.. Kid-friendliness: They are very child friendly Dietary restrictions: There gluten free menu was great
Posting a review simply for heather the waitress. 5* service absolutely incredible. Very possibly the best service we have ever received. Kid-friendliness: Provided colouring crayons and sheet and was helpful catering to baby led weaning I.E served a portion of veggie sticks off menu.
