Been to family splash and really enjoyed it. They had lots of floats, inflatable jet ski, balls, goal posts and also music. The water was warm and clean. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The changing facilities were clean. I liked having the lockers (50p or £1 which you got back at the end). If you can get parking for £3.50 for max of 2 hours (posted pictures). There are not many spaces but if you can get one it's just outside so great with children. Would recommend 🏊

I've been quite a few times only because I get it free but I can assure you that I wouldn't pay to swim here. I'd much sooner drive out of town to Ilkeston Victoria lesuire center. Queen Street is filthy the changing rooms are bad. The pictures that the council have posted are so carefully took the reception area is nice don't let it fool you. There is hair balls floating in the water the men's rooms stinks of urine there is tile scum on the pool walls cold showers and I shared a cubicle with a giant stinky toe nail 🤢. The bad side is this is all most derby folk have at their disposal and it's a shame. Please read your reviews take on board what's said and sort it

Dangerously unhygienic and dangerous safety practices, don't risk it if you value your health, safety or dignity! Unidentifiable gunge on every surface, people taking pictures of all swimmers on their phone, new swimmers diving in the water dangerously close to other swimmers, we finally decided to escape when one child was sick in the pool and nothing done about it. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

The gym here is okay, it has equipment in it and you could do a decent workout. However the actual emvironment is quite bad. When a machine is broken, there seems to be an 'out of order' notice on it without actually getting it fixed. The whole building needs to be completly renovated but I doubt this is going to happen as the council is building a new complex.

This place is an absolute shambles I took my son who is 2 years old to go for a swim. When I asked if there was a kids pool I got told the family pool was open which turned out to not be a pool for for a little toddler because the pool is just over 1m deep at the shallow end. And the "family" pool didn't have a changing room to accommodate a toddler never mind a family it was split into male and female and the male changing rooms had "cubicles" that were out of the local prison just a tiled walls that went to chest height and a tiny triangle piece of wood to sit on and no doors or anywhere to get my son dressed needs shutting or desperately renovating
