I joined David Lloyd’s about a month ago now and it’s genuinely changed my life, I now go to classes in the morning and work from the cafe all day on my computer, it’s also so nice to have somewhere to sunbathe when it’s warm and also be able to play tennis.nThe classes are great, the instructors are professional and energetic, so overall I’m very happy.nThe reason for the 4 stars and not the 5 is because of the cost, at £169 a month it’s extortionate. It’s a great gym but it’s definitely not worth £169. There’s a lot of things that need improving to make it worth that price, one being the gym area which lacks atmosphere and doesn’t look appealing for such an expensive gym. The locker areas don’t look swanky, they look old. The toilet near reception, old. I think finishes here really need looking at.nI’ve been told that the prices get put up quite a lot when anything changes around the gym like the spa and I absolutely wouldn’t be willing to pay more than I’m paying now.nnBut, overall I’m happy. Like I say, it’s changed my lifestyle.
I joined this gym today and was thoroughly impressed by the facilities. What made the experience exceptional and a guaranteed end result of a 12 month membership was the warm and professional introduction I received from Dylan.nnDylan was incredibly courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to show me around, explaining everything in detail. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made me feel welcome and confident about starting my fitness journey here.nnThank you, Dylan, for making my first visit such a positive experience. I’m excited to be a part of this gym and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch facility with exceptional staff like Dylan!
Came in today for the first time, I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’ve never been to a David Lloyd’s before. I was slightly apprehensive before I came but Uzi made me feel very welcome and at ease. The club is a fantastic family environment, exactly what I was looking for and I was very impressed with the spa area.nnI am very excited to have this club as my new training, and relaxation go to. Having everything I am looking for all under one roof is a massive bonus for me.
Had the most pleasant welcome and tour from Dylan. He was attentive, thorough and answered all my questions with ease. The investment into the gym and spa retreat are very impressive. By far the best gym in Derby with everything under one roof to be at optimal physical and mental health.
I had the pleasure of touring the David Lloyd Club gym today with Ben, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. I’ve been considering joining this gym for a while, and Ben’s professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for the facility completely convinced me to sign up.nnFrom the moment I arrived, Ben was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. He patiently walked me through all the facilities, answered my questions, and truly made the tour enjoyable. His attention to detail and ability to tailor the experience to my fitness goals made a huge difference.nnWhat stood out the most was how much he cared about making sure I felt comfortable and excited about joining. He went above and beyond to explain how the gym could support my fitness journey, and I enjoyed every moment of the experience.nnIf you’re considering joining David Lloyd Club, I highly recommend reaching out to Ben for a tour.
