So easy to use our old car for a good cause. Went to the Giveacar website and put the details in and it all went smoothly from there. We were contacted to arrange pick-up and give some extra details of the car sale as a whole item or is it only fit for parts. Sad to see the old car go, but it went to help our favourite charity, so bitter sweet.

This is the third time we have used Giveacar and we continue to be impressed by the quality of service. It couldn't be any easier to move on your old car and help the charity of your choice. Our old car was collected the day after we contacted Giveacar and we have just heard that our donation has reached MND research. If you're looking to dispose of a car in any condition, this is an excellent way to do it.

Giveacar was a great way for me to dispose of my car without the hassle of selling it myself.  The process was really easy and as it went into an auction I watched the online bidding, which was fun.  I liked that I could donate to a little known charity from the list - I chose The Barn Owl Trust.  A positive experience all round and highly recommended.

Give a car is an excellent way to give money to a charity. Very easy to sort out. They to all the hard work for you. Keep you appraised of what is happening. Friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommended this service to anyone.

I was really happy to find Giveacar. They couldn't come out to the island where I live, but we managed to coordinate getting my car picked up at the port when I was due to come over to the mainland for a visit, which was super helpful and meant everything fell into place easily despite awkward logistics! Fantastic concept, and it worked :-

My old car was still functional but so battered that even if I tried giving it away for free people would run a mile. I wasn't desperate for the cash, so a sub £140 offer from the scrappers was no way to end the relationship. What better sendoff for the old soldier than to be genuinely useful right to the end? £122 to a charity helped dry my tears and leave me feeling guiltless.

We wanted to donate our caravan to charity and found giveacar , we couldn't be happier with the whole procedure we were contacted when needed and had numerous emails keeping us informed at all times. The people who work for this company we're always professional , friendly and efficient. I would certainly recommend them to anybody who wanted to donate a vehicle to a chosen charity. The idea is a brilliant one - but sometimes the execution left a little bit to be desired. I didn't feel that I was kept up to date at all times. I was also paid by cheque I was offered a bank transfer but declined for my own reasons.

Don’t use this company even if you are desperate to donate to charity. I gave them my old car worth every penny of £500 more if you broke it for spares! They sold it and donated just over £50 to the British Heart Foundation. I’ve emailed them for a full and accurate account of the sale under the FOI act. So be warned these guys care little for the charities more like lining their own pockets. What a bunch of crooks.

What a brilliant service to use when scrapping an old car. Very pleased with the amount raised which is on its way to my chosen charity.
