The gym is small and crowded. Weights are all over the place. The lockers are broken. Only a few can be locked. And the siuthgate bus station is so crowded. Buses are never on time. Its only worth it if you loce nearby.
Good gym . 24 hours so very convenient. I've only visited for early morning sessions so I don't know how busy it gets during peak hours I did find that the weights sections is not as advanced as the cardio area . Not much variation in terms of machines and as far as I remember only one dedicated chest bench in the whole gym. Regardless you can still get a good work out. Also the showers are really clean
Kadeem Prime -Lynch is the best instructor in Southgate Pure Gym, highly motivating, every single class is always challenging with a great atmosphere. Never failed to deliver what is promised if not more! No wonder his classes are fully booked. Highly professional, inspiring, and makes you come back over and over again. The results speak for themselves!!
Great gym, all equipped with what I need. Thankfully they've moved some of it around. The leg curl with bum up has been moved towards a wall, so it's a little more discreet for women. I go at 5am when there's not many people about so there's no waiting around. I can be in and out in 45 minutes atthat hour.
Now that the air con has bee changed, it’s so hot and unbearable and it’s not even summer yet. This has to be sorted as a matter of urgency. I’m a loyal member and like the classes but will have to leave if this doesn’t get sorted.
