The gym has a small car park which you must register your car on every visit which can be a bit of a pain. The gym itself is great and has everything you need, lots of cardio machines, free weights and weight machines. All the staff are awesome and very helpful, will help you out whenever you need. The classes are amazing especially Ola's classes. Try to avoid busy times as it can get a bit crowded but everyone is friendly and will allow you to jump in with them on machines or weights.nA really good non intimidating gym for all levels.
Have attended this gym for several years now, not a bad place but could do with a serious uplift in equipment, for a gym it lacks basic machines you will find in other gyms and there is never a clear answer on if there is improvements coming apart from a small tv screen displaying a ''development updates coming soon''nnContinuous price rises with nothing in return for the customer.nna lot of space has been dedicated to cardio equipment but it is tremendously old, i was using these machines in 2013 when they was in the Peter May sports center and they have never been updated, they are severely weathered and most of them aren't in use, mats are beginning to lose tension from the runners resulting in them being loose most likely a tripping hazard.nnLimited machines for lower body exercises.nnThere isn1 squat rackn1 smith machine rackn1 leg press always being repaired must be 15 years old nownRequests have been made for several leg machines for a long time with no results, so seems a pointless exercise to ask the customernnNo hack squat, no hip thrust, no leg press hack squat, no belt squat machines. very poor quality of equipment at the momentnnhip thrusts are being done against a window seal?nand the leg curl machine is useless causes more harm than good as the supporting bar sits below the knee where as it should sit over the thighs to give you stability and keep you seated, instead your glutes rise from the seat causing strain through the glutes and lower back.nnCable stack machine press really old and the handles have been put on the wrong way so you have two handles facing opposite directionsnnSmith machine hasn't been serviced in years the pins that support the bar are loose and need tightening and the machine needs oiling.nnAccessories for cable machines need updating and new ones need adding , i gave up with this and bring my own accessories now.nnthere is only x4 5kg plates in the whole gymnnSince the gym has opened 5 years ago, they have had 2 machines bought brand new and they are entry level machines very low cost, apart from that they have had a load of 2nd hand machines come in which are rusty and need attending to, and more importantly they are useless machines that look as if they had no where else to go so got dropped off here. nobody uses them.nnMens toilets 1 of out 2 work, the showers only 2/3 work out of 5, and the walls need a good clean.nna couple good pointsnnfree parkingnfriendly staff, pleasant and can have a good laugh
Beautiful gym! Staff are friendly. However, we could do with a HIP THRUST machine. I went over to the gym group and I used a hip thrust machine it made so much of a difference. The problem we have is all the females are using the ledges and my friend who uses it to do hip thrust injured her back. Please this is all I ask! We have been waiting for years!
A good all rounder gym with a good weights selection/area. The cardio equipment is getting a little bit old so could be updated but otherwise it’s a good place to train with 3hrs free parking.
The gym is great, very nice, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the classes are great too. The staff is super friendly and professional
