Excellent small friendly site with wonderful location near shore line. Lovely walks along beach paths past priory to Bard sea. Recommend booking ahead. You will need your own shower. Toilets, elsan, hook up and water available Very nice site
A lovely little campsite tucked away near the coast, path to the beach and nice 20 minute walk into town. The owner Helen is lovely too, basic toilets at the minute but plans for a new toilet and shower block.
In a nice spot and good sized pitches but let down by being scruffy and unkempt. Scratched new van on way in due to overgrown bushes at entrance that could have been cut back with a little effort by the owner. Bin overflowing when arrived despite it being before the weekend and the site empty at that point. Shower block was not in use which I understand has been the case for some time yet this was not advised when booking. I assumed there would be max 5 vans as a Certified site but there were at least 20 vans on site by Saturday night. Disappointed as it has the opportunity to be a nice site.
Tucked away camping and caravan site. It has a small toilet block with small wash basins and three toilets but no showers or dishwashing facilities more suited for self contained vans and caravans. The shower bloom looks like a long term repair. Camping field well kept. With some electric Very basic site but in Cumbria peaceful. There is a footpath cutting across field to get to local pub the Farm House.
A great little hideaway to be honest, small & compact, cheap & cheerful. Yes the facilities are a bit dated but they are working on it since Edward passed away. For our family & friends it's more about it being l enclosed & safe for the 3-5 year olds. We go every year around this time. Blessed with the weather this year.
Nice friendly owner’s family run cheap site only a Toilet block at the moment But plans are in for showers and new toilet block nice walks nearest pub 30 mins walk nice views very dog friendly enjoyed myself shame bank holiday is soon over and have to leve defo returning in the future

Nice friendly owners refurb about to start. Great place for dogs/walking. Pebble beach in walking distance.
Nice, quiet, and toilets cleaned daily, a lot of space, just brilliant.
Had a lovely stay. Friendly staff very helpful. Staff working hard to improve facilities. Will definitely be back
