I love walking the dog here. It’s got everything you could need from a park; pretty gardens, open space, a bandstand with music during the summer on a Sunday, a stream, swings, tennis and even chess! There’s a little visitors centre & a cafe. There is a decent sized car park, although it does get very busy before the Sunday live music.

I love this park so much, especially in the summer. To think they were going to build a road through it..the history of the priory and the monks gone forever. Fields, tennis court, gardens, and playground has pretty much been there years...

Great open space. Fantastic trees and woody areas, great open green fields used for football and running around. There is tennis courts and three or four table tennis tables available. There is some lovely maintained formal gardens with a great big pond in the centre. Every season brings new colours in bloom. There is also a large children's playground that is popular. Lots to see and do. Suitable for all the family. Oh and you can't forget the Park Cafe and Priory.

This public park has a lot going on. Not only does it have tea rooms, band stand, tennis courts, bowls greens, football/ cricket pitches, children's play areas, duck pond, keep fit and cycle paths it also has an medieval priory, museum and gardens. All within a contract but spacious area. There is also free and easy access to a carpark. Excellent public space to exercise and relax.

Lovely park although the grass was extremely long so our feet were soaked and park was in pretty good order and clean only 1 item broken. Beautiful gardens too.
