Great venue. Lovely bar staff!! Always a welcoming atmosphere. Garden area beautifully decorated, especially in the summer. Drink selection is wonderful. Wide range of cocktails, spirits and draught. Would recommend!!
Was here recently for a birthday celebration and had a great evening. Amazing atmosphere, fab music, and wonderful company! The staff were very friendly too. Hadn't been before but will definitely be back A perfect venue for a party/event, nice space, and they had it beautifully decorated.
Great Environment here, frequent live music and events to cater for everyone as well as live sport events. Nice homely feel inside the pub and a great selection of premium beer to choose from. Highly recommend if you’re local or passing through oxford.

Great Pub, always got the Live Football on, and a great atmosphere on the weekends for the rugby in the Large Beer Garden, and there’s always a great selection of beers

I purchased 2 drinks and left my bag at my table. I left the pub for 10 minutes and cane back to some extremely rude members of staff who said I was no one was allowed to enter the pub because it was full. I explained I had just left the pub and was returning, had my belongings inside the pub and was happy to wait but she said there was no chance and the pub would not even do a one in, one out procedure. It was only 9pm and the pub closes at 11 and yet she refused saying there would not be enough time. I felt extremely let down as a customer, split from my friends and my very own belongings and I lost my two drinks.Moreiver there is currently no legal right to refuse entry on such basis. Fortunately after waiting almost an hour, what seemed to be the manager came out and let me in after implementing a one by one procedure.
Warm welcome from the bar staff very polite and very clean and tidy 10 out of 10 thank you very much
