Brilliant! 17 of us had booked out the pub for the weekend and the owners did a fantastic job of hosting us. The beds were super comfortable. The new menu was also delicious. I think most of all, the owners made us feel incredibly at home. I will certainly look to return. Great job on the renovation team, wishing you all the best for the future.
Avoid like the plague. I hope this is shutdown and reopened with new owners & staff. Just check the 1 star reviews here. Any reviews that are more than 2 stars are clearly blind.nBad food from what I remember. It stinks, unwelcoming and never open, thank god. An Embarrassment to Osborne House across the road, not exactly what you want if you're a tourist visiting the island, not a great first impression at all. Disgusteng.
Great basic pub stay. Clean room, really friendly staff but a very squeaky bed, which is why I’ve dropped a star. Will return but I’ll ask for another room next time.
Stopped in for a cold drink while waiting for our ferry. Staff were very welcoming. Lots of lovely oil lamps and trinkets around the place. Toilets are cleanest I have been in on the island! Did not stay over or eat.
Fantastic service & a great choice of spirits. Very family friendly.
