Story

Welcome to Prego...we are a new Italian style restaurant located in East Cowes town centre close to transport links to Southampton and the rest of the Island.
Relax with family and friends in our warm, welcoming, contemporary surroundings looked after by our vibrant and friendly team. Pop in for some great Barista coffee or enjoy a glass of vino from our hand selected list of popular, drinkable wines.
We offer a selection of Pizza, Pasta, Paninis and Salads all made with authentic Italian ingredients and fresh IoW produce. Or if you'd prefer the take-out option then we can do that too.

Family of five thoroughly enjoyed our meal out. The food was superb, staff were welcoming and cosy environment! Would definitely recommend if you’re staying nearby!
Simply excellent one of the best meals I have had on the island, wild mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly and the seafood spaghetti was excellent. Garlic bread to die for... enough to share between two! We will return for sure, I think the empty plates says it all!nn2023 update: still as good as the first time we ate here. Fantastic food. We had Penne Carne as a pasta and Risotto both were spectacular.
We attended out of season so not to busy. The food was on point! Really delicious and well priced. Lovely friendly staff. We will definitely come back if ever on the isle again.

Food was amazing, staff very friendly and accommodating as we hadn’t booked a table but they were more than happy to squeeze us in last minute. Highly recommend a visit and we’ll be back when we visit the town again.
