We visited as a large group for our Christmas lunch, and it was such a great experience! All the food was fantastic, and the service was warm and attentive. We started with a Charcuterie board, which was a hit with everyone. For my main, I chose the Steak Frites, and it was absolutely delicious—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The Crème Brûlée Tart was a lovely twist on the classic, feeling lighter and softer but still full of flavour. This was a Christmas menu, so you might not find the same dishes on the menu at other times of the year.
Had a lovely day out and lost track of time. Stumbled across The coast bar after realising that almost every other place had closed their kitchens for the evening. Easy access via the high street. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff. High quality dishes presented in a superb manner. The atmosphere was lovely. Absolutely nothing to fault. Well worth a visit.
Was invited for a Sunday dinner today and the food was amazing and the staff were so accommodating especially as we had our 20 month old daughter with us, highly recommended
We are always looking for vegan options and we were delighted to find this cute little restaurant. We sat outside on the street which was good for people watching but not the most comfortable. We had their Mediterranean sharing plate and it was absolutely divine, beautifully prepared and presented. It ended up being enough for our dinner! And we had a lovely bottle of wine which was well priced and good.
Good food with attentive and friendly service. Food came out in good time and was very good. Cocktails were average but the mood and atmosphere made up for that. The background music added to the experience without it being to loud and over bearing. Would recommend to all those that visit Cowes.
