Story

The Little Gloster is an award winning family Restaurant with Rooms located on the seas edge, serving predominately local produce in a simplistic scandinavian relaxed atmosphere. It is listed in both the Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide as being one of the best new entries in the UK. Passionate about food, wine, cocktails and music, our wine list comprises of over 90% organic & biodynamic wines. The cocktail list encompasses the same philosophy as the food and wine menu which is well thought out and delivered, focusing on the seasons.

Genuinely fine food, clearly made by talented chefs who care. Friendly, attentive service, and an attractive setting. Everything was just right and there were even interesting vegetarian options should you require them. Highly recommended.

I’m Canadian and went to the restaurant on the recommendation of my family who live locally. I was disappointed. We were slow in choosing it after that the service was very slow. Bringing bread took an age. The 2 bottles of wine were not brought till after we had the appetizers and had to ask for it. My brother and I ordered the 28 day aged burgers. They were crumbly dry with a small slice of tomato and a little lettuce. My local burger joint in Victoria would be ashamed to produce a burger line that at less than half the price. The dessert was ok but Tony for the price. Overall it was quite disappointing for a place where we had high expectations. The location is fabulous and I hope they can bring their food standards up to what hey used to be.

A special place in an excellent location. Perfect sunset drinks/ meal restaurant. An entire afternoon can easily be lost on the lawn enjoying the sun, boats and song on something cold. Pricing is a tad high but worth it.

Excellent service, attentive but not too fussy! The menu was diverse and our chosen meals were both beautiful and yummy!
