The location is bang in the middle of the Cultural Quarter with Art Gallery, Theatre, and Museums in the next street. Premier Plus room, which is always a bonus. Plenty of eateries on your doorstep, the Witherspoons is the best I have ever been in with a roof terrace. I highly recommend 7bone a bespoke burger restaurant. Visit was let down by maintenance men just walking in the room while we were totally naked and getting dressed. The Premier staff handled this very well but put a dampers on our visit, so I have scored them down. Rooms: Premier Plus is available here.
Was down there on a work trip on the client's penny so I wasn't expecting much. However, they had a grill which enabled me to eat steak every night for an upgrade of just £2. As I was there for a week I got to know some of the staff and they made me feel very welcome. I really appreciated their time and attention.Rooms: 4/5
Premier inn fresh and new refurbished. Nice size room good aircon. Restaurant is bit small but staff nice and friendly.Great value for money. Town centre close convenient for quick walk around town. Rooms: Decent size great shower clean and tidy.
March 2024 Ideal location to stay in Northampton. Close to theatre, museum, and pubs and restaurants. 2 car parks, one on each side and very reasonable overnight parking @ £2.20 or £2.70. the breakfast in the hotel was good. Help yourself continental and then an order for anything cooked. The main downside to the place was the temperature. It was so hot in the room and as usual the controls were useless. 19 was the minimum temperature, but it never got that low... The window was a single sealed unit that couldn't be opened, so no way of cooling the place down. It was very expensive too, £277 for 2 nights including breakfast.
The building needs some technical desperately! You can hear the people in the rooms above you through the ceiling, the hallways are closed off with a door that requires a room key to access. This is great although there doesn't seem to be any ventilation in the corridors so there was a constant horrible sweaty smell. The exterior needs cleaning! Green moss all over the place and dripping down the glass and walls! The rooms are basic but that's what you're paying for. It wouldn't hurt to send a handy man round once in a while to tighten taps and toilet seats. Maybe even get the aircon fixed so it doesn't sound like a constant rotary tapping sound while you're trying to sleep. I do have to say though, the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful! Very well located hotel. Rooms are clean, well heated/ventilated, accessible and comfortable! Beds are huge, with good bedding. The staff were all exceptional, no fuss, do whatever they could to help. I lost my room key, and it was no trouble to get me another one, and no shame or blame! Just made me another one. That meant alot, as you feel so stupid already for losing it! Breakfast the next day was great. One of the staff in the restaurant Leo in particular, who was so friendly and attentive. We found all staff friendly and helpful, so thanks for making our stay a great one.
Location was excellent for us just a short walk to the center and fantastic for the royal and derngate rooms very clean air condition works very well but what is most excellent was the service from the staff 100% spot onRooms: 5/5
Really enjoyed staying here. The room was very spacious and fully equipped for our 1 night stay. Walkability: Very close to The Guildhall for the wedding we attended. Food & drinks: All you can eat breakfast was cooked to perfection.

I have been staying at this hotel every month for over 3years now and would not stay anywhere else! Katy is absolutely fantastic, very professional and brilliant with her staff, she runs this hotel brilliantly and will go out of her way to help, however big or small. Also head housekeeper Gosia is such an amazing friendly lady along with her staff. They know me very well now and always make me so welcome. Also thank you to Lewis today as well as cooking in the kitchen he still went out of his way and sorted my card for my room at reception. This hotel has been so full & busy this weekend 17& 18th Feb, and what this staff do is absolutely amazing, no other words than multi tasking and working together as a team. They are an absolute credit to the Premier Inn town centre and a credit to your company, you are so lucky to have them! Thanks again Katy & Gosia and will see you again next month, you both should be commended on the amazing work that you do xx Nearby activities: So central & close to everything Safety: Great staff here day & all night Walkability: So central to walk into town, supermarkets, train station etc. Food & drinks: Always book bed & breakfast Breakfast is amazing with plenty of choice. Love the lattes x
