As a stop before flying, it is in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the rooms really need to be renovated: no sockets by the side of the bed, very limited sockets in the room made charging difficult. Hot water is limited, and our room was extremely cold, with thermostats cutting heating off way too early - our trip was in December, so heating lwas necessary.
The hotel may be a little dated, but everything is clean and well looked after. What really makes the difference is the wonderful staff — everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It doesn’t have a grand or luxurious feel, but it has a cosy, homely atmosphere that made my stay feel like a home away from home.
For the price it represents excellent value.nHowever , we had a family room for 3 people. There were only 2 plug sockets in the whole room. We stayed during a heat wave so needed fans on , which meant there were no other plug sockets to charge phones , use electronics etcnWas very inconvenient
Use hotel for early flights at Manchester Airport, perfect to location. Rooms are a touch dated. Pub on site which has great good and drink
Lovely staff who gave out lots of water in the hot weather.nnRather dated hotel so keys, no aircon, no breakfast but fan in room was pretty good and breakfast places recommended nearby.
