Great hotel with lots of charm and ambiance. It's seems that the owners are working on improving the rooms and amenities. The staff have been really friendly and accommodating. The pub/ restaurant downstairs makes great drinks and the English breakfast was delicious (need to add Tabasco to the condiments but that is my thing). We would definitely cone back here.

A typical Green King outlet. Fairly modern establishment with a large car park and outside seating. A typical selection of real ales from the GK range plus a couple of guests. Good selection of pub food. They do cater for small gatherings.

Real shame as up until a couple of years back this was a great pub! However the manager and landlord are rude, made a big deal out of the fact I brought my dog in the wrong entrance, I genuinely didn't know I was supposed to come in the other entrance with my dog. Food is poor and expensive and it is more like a kids day care centre at the weekends. Apart from the management the staff behind the bar seem nice though.

A nice chain pub that has a few good selection of beers that all seem well kept. Food menu has changed recently, it looks a little different, but I haven't tried it yet. Good sized car park and some nice outdoor seating, including bench tables on grass. Can get busy outside on nice days.

We went in for Christmas dinner. The table was beautifully set out, with a gorgeous snow scene centre piece. Service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. Couldn’t fault it at all.
