We have converted Bruntwood Hall, Cheadle into a boutique hotel creating 22 bedrooms, a restaurant, cocktail bar, private dining rooms and spa facilities.

Story

We have converted Bruntwood Hall, situated in Bruntwood Park, Cheadle, into a boutique hotel. We've lovingly restored the 19th Century mansion to create 22 bedrooms, The Galloping Major Restaurant, The Stud Bar, Parlour Rooms and The Pigsty spa facilities.

Found the hotel by chance and from the time of booking to arriving at the hotel the experience was first class.
Held our sales meeting and the room was excellent as was the service throughout the day.
The staff extremely attentive and responsive, although found the food choice limited and we all opted for the light choice, this include wholesome food rather than the fine dining option.
Think we all just wanted plain food but saying that the food was lovely.

Booked oddfellows for my wedding site unseen. Came to stay overnight and finalize plans and it was more grand and fancy than I thought it'd be. It's perfect. The rooms are well thought out. The service is top of the line. Ate in the restaurant and had a three course meal. It was amazing.

What a beautiful place! Wonderful food and very friendly as well as helpful staff made for a great evening. We had the 'tasting' menu (one vegetarian) and it was amazing - great food, great wine and great service - we just want an excuse to come back!

Went to a wedding here  Everthing ran to schedule Place itself is immaculate would recommend. Was told the bridal suite was great. Bar prices a little heavy  £3:00 for an orange juice, but guess this is probably about the going rate for a hotel of this standard. All in all would definitely recommend

Visited for a late lunch, from my scan of the dining room I would say the afternoon tea looked really nice.  
There were no dairy free milk options ( such as soya available). So diners with specific dietary requirements beware, or call ahead to flag up in advance what you need..

We all opted for food from the standard dining menu.  I had the haddock which was divine, extremely fresh and tasty.   I'm vegan so there were not many choices, if at all, which is often the case as we represent less than 8%  of the population in the UK why bother catering for us! . I had to put aside my vegan principles and eat fish (Haddock), however the waiter and kitchen staff ensured my dish contained absolutely no dairy. which eased my  conscience a little considering the life of a diary cow is the most mistreated of all animals enslaved by the food industry.

The rest of my party opted for the fish in batter which is presented with chips and tarte sauce and all said it was fresh fish and very tasty.  The food was presented really well, and the surroundings of the dining room and hotel features are top class.

We'll probably go back,, and all I ask for is more vegan and dairy free options please Oddfellows!
