Sick food service staff making customers ill So after a disastrous stay at the West Malling PI I moved to here, this has much the same problems connection wise as the other, very poor 02 /Vodaphone signal, forcing you to use the WiFi, which at least was ok. I thought this part of the U.K. was affluent Food is mediocre and on my second last evening at dinner I was asked if it would be ok for breakfast it was just the continental as the cooking staff had gone off sick. I was offered a refund which would benefit the company I work for but not me, if I did not want the continental, it wasn’t until I came in in the following morning I realised how bad it was, hardly any guests registered for breakfast, but maybe they had started feeling sick like I had, I struggled through s cup of coffee then a yoghurt and was off to work. If you look at my other review on west malling you will see I had problems there, I’m not sure which is to blame but one of them certainly is. I am now laid up writing this from my sick bed with a chest infection and flu, not Covid at least and will do whatever I can for me to never go back to a premier inn.

I regularly stay in Premier Inns. This particular location is an older Premier Inn, with older decor, probably due a refurb soon. But saying that, spotlessly clean and very helpful staff.Rooms: 5/5

A good comfortable Premier Inn in a very good location to explore the local area and its attractions. Kent Life farm/museum is next door, Leeds Castle just over 10 mins drive and Rochester around 15 mins away. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, lots of parking and friendly staff. Lovely setting next to the river where you can sit and have a drink outside the Malt Inn. I'd recommend the meal deal which pays for a 2 course evening meal and drink and then breakfast the next day, good value. Only reason why it's not 5 stars, is that the Wi-Fi kept cutting out but overall, a good hotel.
Me and my husband had a lovely stay at the premier inn in sandling maidstone kent we stayed there for 2 nights and had the meal deal, where we had breakfast and evening meal there what a lovely place. The staff were all pleasant. Helpful and nothing was to much for them.and the selection we got for breakfast was out of this world there was all the fruit juices. Cereals, there was bread for toast. There was fresh fruit. And all the continental as well. Then you had the full English breakfast were you could have much as you wanted. As well as your tea and coffee. Then the evening meal was a 2 course. Where you could have a starter and the main meal of your choice. Or the main meal of your choice and a sweet of your choice . Then you could have a wine or certain beers in the same price you booked for the meal deal. The premier inn was fantastic the staff were very pleasant and they couldn't do enough for you. And the rooms were great very clean and the bed well I have never slept so well they have those hypnosic mattresses and well they are so comftable.and also the river medway runs along the back of the beefeater. You can walk all the way to maidstone Town centre in 40 minutes. And what a lovely walk lookin at all the different boats lovely . We are going back there again next year very impressed
Staff are friendly and ample car park, room was well presented but needed a little more care window sealant, dust on top of main cupboard and grubby skirting board. Biggest problem was we stayed over a weekend where they had a gas leak nin the restaurant meaning no restaurant access despite paying for breakfast in advance it was refunded and offered basic complimentary items however big inconvenience 3 hours before checking in and with 2 toddlers to source dinner for that evening and 2 breakfasts elsewhere.
I'm giving this hotel 3 stars, the room was good, but as soon as you opened the bathroom door it smelt like urine, everything else was fine. You have a beefeater opposite which you can book a table the food was lovely but the breakfast was standard. Its good if you don't drive and looking to visit Kent life the next day.
The hotel is a typical Premier Inn, although looking a bit tired now. Bed was comfortable, though unlike most Premier Inns these days there was no cooling, only heating. The room was very warm, although they had put a fan in there. My main issue was that arriving at 8.30pm I was told there were no tables available in the Beefeater next door. This place isn't within walking distance of anywhere else to get food, so be careful. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful.
