Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I’m surprised how this has not been shut down.nnThey advertise air conditioning but none of the rooms have working ac. When I told reception they said well that’s just how it is here’s the number for guest relations.nnRude staff. Very dirty hotel. There were posters everywhere saying let reception know if you want room cleaned.nnWhen I went down to reception one morning to request a room cleaned the rude lady said ‘what exactly do you mean by you want your room cleaned’nnWhen I said I’d like new towels sheets changed etc she said that’s not going to happen. Premier inn please train your staff and get rid of the ones who are being rude to guests.nnThe room was very dirty, not clean linen and not clean towels. The carpets hadn’t been hoovered in months it seemed. Surface dust on everything. Didn’t see one member housekeeping staff over my 4 day stay.nnAccording to their good night guarantee I should be given a refund for my entire stay. Just another fraud though right since reception staff had no idea about it.nnWorst hotel ever, terrible staff, unclean hotel.nnThey are breaking multiple regulations at this property. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
We've stayed at the premier inn a few times due to its great location and easy accessibility into London. We are always particularly made to feel more welcome by the breakfast Manager Teresa who is very friendly, smiley and extremely helpful. She's always busy making sure everything is running as it should and every table is cleaned when finished. We've also seen her doing other peoples jobs and she really seems to go above and beyond.nThis year the lovely Spanish lady on reception was also particularly helpful and happy. We will continue to stay here.
We’ve used this hotel a number of times for its great location and value for money. The service has also always been very good.nnHowever, it surpassed itself this time with the hard working and diligent member of staff, Teresa, standing up to the plate. Working on her own at breakfast, dealing with in excess of probably 80-100 customers including a group of 50 school children, nothing was too much trouble for her.nnShe appeared ‘everywhere’ from the reception desk to clearing away plates and topping up the quickly emptying juice containers and coffee machines whilst keeping everyone satisfied. And all with a smile on her face maintaining high standards of professionalism throughout. A definite standout contender for any “employee of the year award” !!
Had the most amazing experience staying here. Lady at the bar Omeya went above and beyond with her exceptional service and availability. Haven’t experienced this form of amazing service in such a while. Wanted to thank her for allowing me to have such a smooth stay.
I would like to address the Premier Inn hotel in Croydon, London, specifically. Our stay went well, but the conduct of certain staff members needs improvement—particularly that of Teresa. She never smiles and comes across as unpleasant and insincere toward guests. She clearly plays favorites at the hotel, and it shows. Language skills also need work; London attracts a huge number of tourists, and some aren't comfortable with English. That is why hotels should employ bilingual staff to ensure good communication with guests. I believe there was a breakdown in communication and a misunderstanding with Teresa. I would advise Teresa to be friendlier, more approachable, and more understanding with guests. On the other hand, I would like to thank Stéphane—another Premier Inn Croydon employee—for being understanding, cheerful, and genuine with us; he is one of the kindest people we met at the hotel.
