Very smart and stylish new local. Sadly a lack of attention to detail really lets it down. Poor service in the bar and lounge. Dirty tables and floors. Display ornaments covered in thin layers of dust. This place could be so much more but the management need to get a grip. If the management can see the problems that is. I'd like to give it five stars - and I will update this review when things improve.

Beautiful place Just a shame that there wasn't a folder or brochure in the room that gave information like Meal times/Room Service number for ordering etc. There was nothing displaying the number for reception and as I was already showered it was a bit awkward as no hairdryer or way of ordering anything to the room. The adjacent shower room was lovely but very cold. Apart from the above it was lovely

Afternoon tea was beautiful. I was disapointed there was no choice of tea. The food did make it worth it. There were 3 levels. Savoury, cake and then a scone. All fresh and all melt in your mouth.

Beautiful hotel, group of us had Sunday lunch there. Meal was very tasty could have been bit more generous with potatoes only 2 small ones on plate (they don't cost much) and not great choice of dessert. But nice afternoon eating drinking and listening to the singer .

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in historic setting The refurbishment has done this building proud Would love to stay there but live literally up the road so I can't justify the cost
