Clean campsite, nice location good walk down in to Marlborough. Downside was extremely crowded on Saturday night due to collage groups, told to find space and set up camp... Had to squeeze in to a space under a tree. Not ideal. No showers (we knew about this so not an issue as we brought our own) But for the whole site there was only 2 working female toilets out of 4. For a site this size and with the amount of people on the site 2 toilets is unacceptable, granted they were clean enough but when there were collage kids running back and forth every 5 minutes to only have 2 is a joke. My husband said they only had 3 in the men's too. I probably wouldn't return due to the toilet situation (OK if you bring your own or have your own in a caravan but not idea for tents) I also wouldn't return in the school holidays or over a weekend due to the volume of people on the site and there were alot of seasonal pitches where people had set up but then left again causing people to squeeze in where they could.

Really peaceful and very laid back. Staff are friendly but very chilled out. Small campsite but doesn't feel crowded at all. No showers, but they clearly advertise so shouldn't be a surprise for anyone here. The dog walking off lead area is one of the best I've seen. A lovely spot and very close to Marlborough

Not a bad campsite, located on the edge of the Savernake Forest. Not sure I'd be back though because it is quite small and it gets a bit crowded for my liking (mostly with caravans - which is also not ideal for me personally), plus there is a busy road nearby and you can hear a lot of traffic noise :( Apart from that - lovely walks in the forest, and picturesque picnics spots are very near. Regarding facilities - nice clean loos, but no showers.
