One lady serving last week asked where all the staff was and was told they were on holiday which I didn't believe one minute. I had to pick up parcels before they would be sent back. Today yet again closed so couldn't pick up my items due to staff sickness. Its really getting beyond a joke. I shouldn't have to leave work early and panicking about picking up my parcels. One staff member is so lovely and helpful but the other two were rude and abrupt. Sort it out please
If I could give it 0 stars I would. I've been to 3rd world country's post offices and have had better service. Queues are unbearable, post office is messy and there are no clear instructions on anything. Staff are somewhat helpful but there was one lady who had a very bad attitude towards everyone and was totally unhelpful. Only 2 staff to serve about 30 people on a Saturday! At this stage they might as well just close it because the lack of service that you receive here will eat so much of your time you might as well just go to another branch around the area.
Never normally complain but told at 5.15 pm that they were closed so couldn’t accept a returning parcel as the only member of staff had been on her own all day !?? Even machines were closed? Surely that’s the point of the self checkout machines ??? Meant to be open til 5.30pm useless !! Not the first time been let down by this branch !
Try another Post Office instead. Counters aren’t open due to lack of staff and a self service machine not working. Tried to send a letter internationally and could not enter the full address into the self service machine. Had to then go to another post office to send a simple letter.
Took my driving license in for renewal, member of staff clearly explained everything, processed quickly and - Hey Presto ! My new license arrived a week later .
they should review their opening hours. 3rd time within 2 months that I have tried to pick up a parcel after work and either the place has been shut completely or I was told the office had shut at 5 rather than 5:30 as the staff can’t be bothered to stick to the opening hours.
Always allow 30 mins per visit, at least. Consistently understaffed. Even with pre-postaged items which should just be a quick scan & drop off, I end up queueing for 20 mins.
It is unbelievable! 2nd time no stamps! This in an post office! Self check-out again once again out of order and this since last weekend! 7days!!!! Wth is going on? UK in the year 2023 you are not even able to send a few letters anymore.. incompetence where you look but everything is totally overpriced! Wannabe US Americans! This shop stucks in 1990... Runned down by poor local management and supported by the incompetence of the upper management at WH Smith and Royal Mail!
RUDE AND UNHELPFUL - Turned away at 3pm in the dot when needing to send off passport today. The staff member was rude standoffish and so unhelpful.. someone needs to deal with this.. repeated issues with this branch
0 stars . Post office is never open . Arrived 1 hour and a half early. My parcel is stuck in there so I’ve had to order a new parcel which has costed me . This post office owes me money . Needs shutting down .
