Went for Christmas lunch today Great little place, food is lovely, staff ever so friendly. Pity hough when it was a Chritmas lunch booking when we arrived, nothing festive about It, no Christmas decorations on the table, no crackers, not a lot of atmosphere, shame really, but never the less love all the same

Lovely little place where you know that food is going to be great just by the smell of the food being cooked when you walk in. I had a cajun chicken and bacon sandwich with fat chips and it tastes great. My partner loves beef so she opted for the beef and gravy sandwich and thought it was delicious. The staff even brought a minuture pot of more gravy. Definately worth trying it out.

Place is very nice looking. Staff are great. Took my mum for a last meal before i left the country. I got a seafood pasta mum got duck. We also got some sharing starter. Duck was tough as old boots. Fish in the pasta was stale and mashed up. The sause was just so herby and wrong for fish.the starter had some pretty horrible bits in amongst it also.some guy playing instrument and singing his head off in the corner really wasnt appropriate for a tea time meal. Too much noise to have a conversation. Only the second time in my life ive ever complained about food because it was pretty horrible tasting. The staff were helpful about it and dropped the price of the drinks off the bill. Noticed many saying the food is great there. Maybe i got the wrong chef that day, certainly the one that day hadnt tasted what he/ she was cooking.

Excellent very tasty meals. Also lighter meals during the day and lovely high teas.
