It’s hard to find a home away from home…i mean a cafe away from home. The juice cafe has been my go to healthy takeaway for years. This place wouldn’t be as great, if they didn’t have a good owner and amazing employees. I just wanted to share this with everyone, this is definitely a place you want to add to your cafe list.
This place was magic! The best service I’ve experienced in London with superb fresh food, they really are what they say they are. Fresh, organic, beautifully put together menus, juices, smoothies and if you want something different, they will put it together for you Make sure you get your butt down here as soon as you can!
This is one of my favorite places to visit when at work. All staff are so lovely and always so welcoming. Not to mention all the tasty smoothies and more . You guys make my day and I always leave with a smile Food: 5/5
The quaternity of eggs, meticulously crafted into an omelette, exhibited an acceptable culinary performance. Nevertheless, the culinary symphony could have achieved greater harmonious heights had the onions undergone a more extended culinary voyage before their integration into the omelette. Their raw introduction left an ephemeral, yet perceptible, aftertaste that detracted from the overall gustatory experience. In juxtaposition to this, it is worth noting that a verdant accompaniment, reminiscent of the depicted tableau, did grace the presentation. A delightful divergence, however, surfaced in the realm of fruit selection – a culinary triumph that deserves unreserved commendation. The pancake ensemble, while commendable in flavor, bore a subtle hint of aridity, a characteristic that could potentially be attributed to the rigors of transportation and subsequent reheating. It is imperative to commend the gastronomic rendezvous with runny honey, which lent a mellifluous counterpoint to the pancake composition.
Previously I had left a short positive review on this place. Unfortunately my last visit ruined my views on this juice bar. I’ve been coming for months now whenever I am in the area about 4 times so far and really liked our visit and drinks the first few times. The juice though pricey was great. Super fresh and unlike any that I tried. I always go for Dr Detox for a gingery drink. But my last server who we saw for the first time, different from our previous visits, was obnoxiously rude when we are asking about potential substitutions and tried charging us extra for it despite it being a substitution due to allergies and not additional fruit/veg. When we explained this he rudely and begrudgingly accepted but made our drinks incredibly watery and truly disgusting I think he overused the celery as I hardly saw any fruit that was taken out of the fridges like our previous super nice server shows us when we go. I came out somewhat lucky as my friends drink was absolutely vomit-like and we sadly couldn’t do anything about it since we were too far driven away. We get large sizes every time since usually it’s super nice but he didn’t put ice in our drinks, which was normal for every other visit of ours, and made it unbearable to drink. I thought having a small menu meant the drinks could be reliably tasty but it’s sad to see despite such a small set drink list that only after 5 visits did we run into quality consistency issues and makes us really doubt going in another time to waste money on watery warm disgusting garbage. I only wish I caught his name so that I could avoid him as it is really a shame since we really liked our previous visits. At the end of the day if you are taking a gamble each time you go for taste then what’s the point of making a detour for this store. Would avoid.
I ordered an açaí bowl takeaway for £13 and was quite disappointed. First, they forgot to add the almond butter I requested. The fruit selection was very limited, and the granola felt stale, with raisins that were hard and unpleasant to eat. The açaí itself tasted overly sweet and diluted compared to other Brazilian açaí places I’ve tried. For the price, I expected much better quality.
Very nice and polite staff open till very late and very quick service proper juices
The acai bowl was a massive letdown. I chose the dragon bowl option, and all I got in a sugary acai with a little granola thrown in. A far cry from an authentic Brazilian acai bowl that they claim to make.Food: 1/5
