Great for beginners or if you want 9 holes at lunch time. Short holes with small greens, no rough.

This is a great wee course 9-hole, council run. Perfect for beginners and folk in a hurry! Nice and flat, but still tricky off the 'medal' tees. Lovely view of Arthur's Seat too... Get round quick before they build houses on it!! 

First time playing at the course, but had a great round. Great value and pretty popular for a midweek morning.. staff are friendly and helpful, well maintained and easy to play course. I'm fairly new to golf, and this course is definitely not particularly challenging. But well worth playing the 9 holes, if you haven't been here before.

A great wee 9 hole course ideal for a novice. This was the last day of my membership so it's time to renew, but EL make it difficult with the lack of detail on the app and internet. And they are difficult to speak as no telephone contact is available, allegedly because of covid, and it takes days to get a response. Shocking designed customer service

Nice little local course. Short course so good if you aren't a big hitter or lacking a bit of confidence. 9th hole is their signature hole which is a testing 190+ yard par 3.

Great little 9 hole course not too trying but must hit straight.

Good shared space between the general public. Walkers,runners,dog walkers,golfers. Just 1 little bug is though most pick up after their dog, instead of binning it or taking it home they throw it away. I always pick up after the dogs done her business, it's not hard. A plastic bag will take forever to degrade, it's also unsightly & a health hazard.

Beginner-friendly course. Great experience expect Google Map led us to old train trails instead, took sometime to find the right entrance. Strongly suggest the owner of this place considering change some info on Google.

It's an easy course but had it all to myself with the freedom of a wee carry bag and 7 clubs. Managed to beat the rain and sunk a great 4 footer downhill and twisty at the last. Never mind all the other poor shots I had I will get better on this beautiful links.
