Mortonhall Golf Club

Terrific course however, club house and external facilities need a revamping and the food on offer is sub-par. Also, I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but the North side of the Clubhouse, where the locker rooms are, above on the roof metal decking and seating could take advantage of those incredible views of Edinburgh. No other course has such views of Edinburgh. The trees that align Braid Road to the left of this area could be felled or reduced to give those stunning views.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very tasty lunch and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier. As one of our group was a wheelchair user the access was perfect. Highly recommended.

Probably the most enjoyable golf day I've had this year. First time and loved it. Great layout with spectacular views. We'll worth visit and will definitely be back.

Lovely club excellent course

Very sadly, my mother recently passed away and after looking at a number of options we decided to hold the funeral reception at Mortonhall Golf Club. We were not disappointed. The venue not just the clubhouse, but what we could see of the course itself is spectacular, and was in immaculate condition for our event. The funeral tea was copious and delicious, with stacks of freshly made and imaginitively filled sandwiches and other delights. The service was quick and courteous, and everyone was made to feel at home. Overall, the Club's staff went out of their way to make our sad day as happy as it could be.

Best golf course I've played on. The conditions were brilliant. However from the start didn't feel welcome. The members at the club were very rude. Alot of staring and bad looks went my way. Ball nearly hit my group when we were teeing off and not a four shout or an apology when the older man came to his ball and was very rude. For that reason wouldn't come back to this course.

Lovely setting and the food for the funeral wake was excellent

Great club, solid challenge, top notch greens.

Good mix of holes, stunning views, well worth a visit. Friendly staff looked after us.
