Welcome to the Pontlands Park Hotel Facebook Page.

Pontlands Park is a family run three-star hotel providing a unique combination of homely comfort and exceptional service. Built in 1879 Pontlands Park features Victorian period architecture perfectly balanced with luxurious and contemporary design.

Over the years the house has been sympathetically extended and today has 35 bedrooms, comprehensive conference facilities and is a perfect venue for weddings and parties, whatever the occasion.

The Lounge has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere and is the perfect place for a get together for coffee or drinks, to enjoy a light lunch, afternoon tea or dinner and the free wifi and parking makes it ideal for meeting up with colleagues. The Restaurant offers a wide choice of freshly prepared dishes using local and seasonal ingredients, both welcome non residents although booking is advisable.

Hotel guests can also enjoy the facilities at our neighbouring leisure centre with its indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and café.

Great hotel on the outskirts of Chelmsford in Great Baddow. Family run and probably the best around for miles. Used often for weddings. Booking early for a hen do is a must. Has Acacia Beauty Rooms on site, this another professional place for therapy that has been there for a long time. Always call hotel and beauty rooms to discuss your needs and so not to be disappointed. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pontlands Park Hotel. The service was fantastic, everyone greeted me with a warm smile. The afternoon tea is delicious, very filling. The buffet style breakfast was also very good. It's located in a beautiful area, surrounded by trees, fields and a pond. The room I stayed in was large and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely return here and recommend to others.

Treated to Sunday carvery for Mothers Day, food, presentation and staff all excellent. Its just s shame its a carvery, I find meals become disjointed with people wandering backwards and forwards past you, parents collecting their childrens meals and then going back to get their own whilst the remaining party wait for everyone to be seated again. Its a small restaurant and I think it would be so much nicer if meals were brought to the table by the waiting staff.

The rooms are spacious and good value. The food is amazing and i would recommend eating here in the evening too. All the staff make you feel welcome

Went for carvery with some friends. Food was excellent and the chef went out of his way to accommodate my dairy free friend. Definitely booking to go again!
