The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious and had all the amenities we needed. What let the hotel down was the bar service- despite being a ‘24 hour’ bar, he definitely was not interested in serving us around midnight when we got back to the hotel from a do. Furthermore, there is some weird policy that you can order pizza but must take it up to your room- can’t eat it in the bar area. It was all very odd.
Very enjoyable and affordable stay. Great affordable all you can eat breakfast and kids eat free. Staff very helpful and courteous. Rooms very spacious but need some updating. The location is perfect. Quiet and close to a lot of amenities like cinemas, restaurants, shops, arcade etc. Easy to get to the train station to anywhere in london
Enjoyed a 3 night stay during a work visit. Rooms are clean, simple standard has a kettle but no mini fridge and tidy. The location facing the water and pergola is pretty but to access anything outside of the industrial park requires a taxi or car. Breakfast included was good, the usual hot and cold options. I think this is a good budget hotel; rooms and bathroom are sturdy with a homely feel and quiet for sleep. Recommend
Everything seems perfect in this hotel. They have daily room cleaning service. Also the rooms are good with comfortable beds. The have a good lobby and a bar on the ground floor.nI liked the breakfast very much. They have a good variety of options.nRegarding location it is good. It is just adjacent to festival park. So you have good so many options of restaurants just outside the hotel.nThey have a big parking space as well.
An ideal hotel for an overnight stopover while travelling or for a stay in this part of Essex. A spacious and welcoming reception with bar, and well appointed rooms, ours having a view of the lake. Sizeable car park which was free for IHG Rewards members, which is a genuine bonus. A large circular dining room for breakfast again with views of the lake and outdoor seating for good weather. Lots of eating places and other facilities in the Festival Leisure Park which is in the same complex.
