I had a very nice experience when visited this hospital. Came with my wife for an abdominal scan . The appointment was at 13:50 and we were seen 5 minutes later. We were in and out in under 20 minutes. And because there was free 20 minutes parking we didn't have to pay for anything. Thank you again to the nurses and receptionista.
This evening I took my mum to the urgent care unit at Pontefract, Thank you for a good experience, The Triage Sister Sarah was lovely, caring and made my mum feel like she was in safe hands, The health care assistant, was lovely and explained everything that she was doing. And the Doctor gave my mum a check over,listening and reading through her hospital notes,giving clear answers and advice. Thanks Pontefract
Visited Pontefract Hospital today and I was incredibly impressed. Dr Masud and her team of nurses were so kind, friendly and professional. Although very busy and no doubt exhausted, they went out of their way to ensure that patients received the best possible care - and they did so in a light hearted manner in order to put them at their ease. This is clearly a hospital with high standards. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with smiling faces at reception. BRILLIANT in every respect. Thank you.
Was really shook up and not feeling great because of a illness I need life saving surgery for, I turned up 2 in morning and although shut and doesn't have A&E I was seen and the women receptionist and nurse massively helped me calm down as was a wreck when walked in. Thank you!n26/2/24.
Had surgery on my knee here at ponte hospital on Friday 8th March and the whole process was faultless, from being first seen to having surgery was 5 weeks, staff were amazing, private clean room nice food no issues whatsoever thanks nhs
