Absolutely brilliant day surgery team, as soon as i stepped into the ward they re-assured me that i will be ok & took care of me as if im some VIP. from getting changed into my gown to getting to the surgery and then waking up to the best jam & toast you have ever had- unbeatable team. Thank you so much!
I can't fault the service I have had here. Brilliant staff. Nice building. Decent parking. I am a very happy patient.
If your relative is sent to WICU here then request somewhere else. This is a care home not a rehab unit, where patients are put to bed at 6pm. Staff run in the opposite direction to calls and hide from sight to chitchat. Not fit for purpose.
I suffer very painfull Sciatica, I've had a few injections for it at pontefract pain clinic which gives a few years of pain relief, I had an appointment at the clinic last week, when I attended I was approached by a man who said the clinic is closed!!! I then recieved a letter from the pain clinic from Methley leeds for an appointment over the telephone !!!!, Ime racked in pain. What's happened to our NHS ???? Nobody seems to care anymore
I went for a ankle x-ray 6 weeks ago and was told nothing is wrong and I can walk on it in a week and be back active in 2 despite my ankle being terribly swollen and painful. Said I didn’t need a ultrasound but 6 weeks on I am waiting another 6 weeks for a ultrasound now because my local doctors have to refer me for one instead of them and I have a suspected torn ligament that was somehow not thought of or noticed by any of the staff at the hospital.
