Had electro cardiogram here. Everything went perfectly.nMy scan was then forwarded tp Pinderfields Cardiology Department. Four weeks tomorrow since the scan and have not received results. There is an answerphone at Cardiology and despite several calls to them, no contact.
I had to visit the urgent care centre at 4am this morning due to an allergic reaction and was seen within a few minutes by a Sister. I was given an injection and additional meds very quickly. I had to stay in the waiting area for an hour to check responses and therein I was seen and check by a Registrar and given very specific helpful recommendations in terms of follow up in my home city of Glasgow.nThe response time was amazing. Both the nurse and the doctor were professional and friendly and both put me at ease very quickly.nThis is a system that clearly works really well.nPontefract urgent care unit not an A and E thank you so much for looking after me
Although I didn't visit the hospital to inspect or check anything, I actually was really impressed with the cleanliness of the place....nLovely to see some people take cleaning seriously .nWaiting time is minimal and all staff and nurses are friendly, professional and......on the roll once ce the shift starts...
The place itself is fine, the folks that work here are all absolutely fine.nnI've been on a waiting list from 10.06.25 until 17.04.26 with no signs of any meaningful progress. I was also fobbed off for eight weeks before being added to the waiting list.nnWhy do they keep calling me back to disappoint me?nnThree stars omitted for non existent service.nnSorry Ponte!
My wife on Saturday the 11th of April went for an M.R.I scan. The radiographer team were brilliant, excellent people's skills, friendly. Went above and beyond to make my wife feel safe and at ease.
