My wife recently had an operation and was located in Effective Orthopaedic Suite her treatment was first class in every area. Wonderful caring staff who made her stay as comfortable as possible. One hears so many adverse remarks re the NHS but a stay in this ward will give faith in the system. Thank you to all staff who are doing such a great job. Well done.

I can't praise my visit enough. I was in very quickly and seen to quickly. I was reassured as I wasn't calm!. EVERYTIME I've been it's been the same. Pleasant staff also. I'm taking a star away due to this morning. A friend of mine was due to have an outpatient op this morning. I got up at silly o clock to go and collect him to be there for 7am. I left and got a text to say....they THEY had changed the time to 12.30pm. He hasn't eaten or had anything to drink for now 14 hours...do the maths, come 12.30pm he's going to be hungry..its one of those when you know you can't eat...hungry right? Lol. One phone call would have sufficed. He's frightened as it is, I worry that as this was the third time they had rescheduled anyway...it will be delayed again when he gets there. All that money spent on the new hospital. I'm speechless!!!!!

Attended the scope unit 14/9/17 for a colonoscopy. The staff were amazing. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. The staff in black uniforms were very professional and in total control. It was a very comfortable experience. Thank you.

Visited Pontefract hospital today for a colonoscopy and polyp removal. Although not a pleasureable experience, the nursing staff did their best to make it as relaxing as possible. Excellent staff throughout the whole procedure made it an extremely professional and caring experience. Special thanks to Dianne for her care and understanding and to all the staff carrying out the procedure. Very surprised at the standard of care and overall cleanliness in the hospital. Excellent. Thank you all so much.

Sent by My GP for a chest Xray. I walked through the door and never got time to sit down. The staff were polite and efficient and I was in and out in minutes...so quick in fact I got back to my car within the free parking period....amazing !
