Today i had an appointment for an ultrasound of the neck. I was greeting and called in for my appointment by a lovely nurse, the dictor shook my hand and introduced himself and explained the procedure. They we're both very friendly through out the scan. The doctor explained that the referring doctor would probably request a further biopsy and asked how i felt about it. I felt so comfortable with the nurse and doctor that i said i was happy for them to do it there and then if they wished.
They we're more than happy to proceed abd again explained everything they we're going to do. 
I wish i could remember their names but i did thank them several times for making a very unpleasant biopsy much more bearable because of their compassion, happy natures and generally very pleasant personalities.

Great Hospital, Friendly & Helpful staff,  only issue would be the new telephone Options contact system, previously You rang the switchboard & they would put You through to the relevant department,& the department would give You a direct dial No, but now You ring the so called direct dial No & get hit with about 7 options, if someone is hard of hearing or mental health issues they could easily miss the option they want,

Visited  the emergency department tonight with my partner who's lad was waiting to b seen. The receptionist was very rude to customers and a gentleman asked if she would b able to book him a taxi. He had 2 little  kids with him and she told him to use the free one on the wall. This wasn't working so she reluctantly phoned one but her body language was really rude. She was slagging all the staff off to another collegue.  Really bad customer care she obvisley don't want to b there

So far very good. Staff welcoming, stop in the corridor to ask if you need help. It has been everything you would hope for. I am about to start a long period of treatment with Chemotherapy - I have full confidence.

Never had a bad experience here not once... Had 2 children here the staff are amazing. In the women's services everything is immaculate the labour suites are massive and gorgeous. The accident and emergency is quick and has its own pediatric accident and emergency which is fantastic, with colouring and toys galore. The cafe is great and reasonably priced unlike the WH Smiths but I can say thats a given at any hospital.
