Only so often you visit a restaurant or shop that stun you with their customer care and attention. Polignano in Chelmsford is such a place. Over the past months I visited the restaurant on a number of occasions, on various days and in various company. Time after time the food was amazing and the customer attention high. This week I checked whether they could accommodate my wife's FODMAP/paleo diet, which is a tough challenge for many restaurants. Not at Polignano! The whole meal was adjusted to what my wife can and can't eat, resulting in an amazing meal with sea bass and vegetables. I suggest all big chains (Italian and non Italian) to visit this place and learn what real customer care means, combined with great produce. Their example is already featuring in my own training sessions on customer excellence. Polignano stands out in many ways. For me already the discovery of 2018!

Been here several times for lunch and it is excellent in every way. We plan to come for dinner very soon. Honest decent friendly staff who know their business inside our. A true family run authentic Italian. Don't walk past again. Very good value.

The food was lovely genuine Italian food and the staff were really nice. My only thing is the lighting upstairs is horrendous office lighting that doesn’t make for a nice atmosphere

Italian cuisine. Food is delicious. You can eat in or take away. The Staff nice & friendly and the place has a nice vibe about it. Defiantly worth a visit.
