Absolutely fantastic place with loads of fine guitars, amps, keyboards, drums etc. Staff are very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I looked at many acoustic guitars and there was no pressure to buy. I wanted to look at a Gibson J200 but none in Stock but they did take my number to let me know when they next get one in, looked at some amazing Taylor’s but spoilt for choice and need to do some homework on the many different models/prices etc. Top notch guitars. I will definitely be back and will buy a guitar or two from them in the near future.
Fantastic shop! Helpful staff! Went to buy a keyboard, stool and stand for my child's birthday present but they didn't have in stock the stand that I wanted - due to high sales during the Black Friday. However, the salesperson let me have the display stand which meant that we could assemble the present when I got it home - which meant I didn't disappoint my child with an incomplete present. Really important given that I was running on the last minute and bought it on her birthday! Thank you so much for your help! If she keeps up with her keyboard, I have promised ... in a few years to go back to PMT Manchester and buy a beautiful white Yamaha keyboard, that we both saw and admired!!
Went to pick up an MXR effects pedal which PMT price matched with another company . The store is packed with goodies and is a musicians dream ! Great helpful friendly staff . Check them out
Well stocked with demo items, virtually no prices on anything though. My advice is to go and try the instruments then go home and check the prices and order online. Staff seemed very pushy on up sell, the view seemed to be more expensive is better. This was witnessed with a few customers while we were in store, Including ourselves. I can only assume the staff are on commission, might explain the missing price tags.
Great music ‘warehouse’ and we got some good advice and support from a staff member in the acoustic guitar section. However I am only scoring 4 as due to being busy and understaffed, we could not get any service at the till and we’ll have to go back when it’s less busy not a Saturday morning. I actually wanted to place an order but couldn’t get anyones attention. Although on the plus side my 6year old daughter had a “learn to play” session on the drums with the guys from Rock Steady and absolutely loved it. Really good that we came across this by chance when we were actually shopping for a guitar!
Always good service and excellent choice. I’ve gigged for years, but took a neighbour’s son for his first electric guitar. Good advice, no pressure and a happy young man now has a new guitar
These guys have shocking customer service. My guitar got lost and I had to chase up when it would be delivered, then they wouldn't honour the price match guarantee they advertise online - they just don't reply. Their customer service is off the wall bad. My advice is: Use their retail stores to try guitars and equipment, then go home and buy online for a better service and a cheaper price!
Great range of instruments, friendly and helpful staff, good prices. Well worth a visit and the online store is great as well.
Great experience again. Didn't have guitar Faith Mercury eclipse in this branch George quickly had it shipped over for me to try before buy. George organised everything and helped me with my purchase. good price and No pressure and gave me plenty of time to make up my mind As always fantastic store and another guitar for Me. Harvey
I was well looked after. Lots of stock and loads of instruments to try. Could spend all day there!
