As expected drinks were extremely overpriced, even in comparison to other venues I've visited, as well as having a £9 card limit and no option for cashback to pay for future drinks as they do in other venues with card payment limits. Toilets were really clean, will give them that. In fact, my friends and I spent most of the night in the loos as the sound was of such poor quality it actually sounded clearer in there.
We have just come back from seeing "judge jules live" and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had no problems with security, and despite what we had heard about the gatecrasher events held there, the bar prices were very reasonable. It's a great underground feel and is a decent size club with 3 arenas. There is an ncp carpark right opposite which is very handy if you are traveling by car. I wouldn't hesitate to go to another event here.

Saw Vintage Trouble here - awesome band. Venue well located close to Sheffield train station and the city centre.
Always have a good night at Plug. Was overcharged for drinks but was soon rectified once pointed out to staff. Perfect venue for trance/hard house events. Cloakroom is nice and easy to put stuff away and collect. Only problem is the toilets, but I guess that's the same in most clubs. At least they never run out of roll haha.
A fantastic club that doesn't really get the respect it deserves. Great room layouts and a fantastic sound system. Loads of different events on and a good location in the city centre makes getting to and from quite easy, especially if you're not familiar with the area.
Strange venue, the way the stage is set out. Great for intimate gigs.
Great music on particular nights, my favourite was riot. Bouncers are very nice, and so are the staff. Drinks were a little expensive so order wisely
This place is a dump The venue is dark near the bar so I couldn't see the drinks The place boiling hot no air con No ice to keep my gin nice and cold which completely spoiled it. Especially the prices they charged Toilets were dirty and a few people who were in at the same time also commented on No staff to serve which put us off from buying. Bought some cans from the bar to save waiting again but it was warm by the time we drank it. Shame cause the the band's we saw were really great. Jungle lion and Skaterlites Sort your place out people
