Smart pub, nice deco vibe. Good service, one member of staff was noticeable as very friendly/attentive, was aware of people arriving/leaving and very fast response to clean tables & clear empty glasses. We would definitely frequent if we were local.
Weatherspoons are pretty solid when it comes to service and standards. This was no different, food and drink ordered on the app came prompt and it was a good temperature. Also the fact that it all came together was a positive sign. There were only the two of us eating but it makes a difference. Staff were polite and attentive too.
Excellent value for money.. definitely one of the better wetherspoons.. no waiting for ages for your drinks or food.. plates were hot, food was cooked well, everything ordered arrived together.. better portions than other wetherspoons in our area.. friendly, polite staff.. a definite thumbs up from me
Polite staff, great food and quick table service via the Weatherspoon app. Nearly everyone abiding by social distancing.
5 stars for giving an amazing building a new lease of life. 1 star because its Spoons. And WTAF climbed the obligatory million stairs to go for a p*ss much to the amusement of everyone upstairs. So yeah downstairs bogs in a spoons! What's that all about?
It's Wetherspoons, so no surprises generally. Quite a detailed one, nice beer garden.
I'm from Scotland and traveled to loads of weatherspoons. The plaza is by far the cleanest happiest and relaxing place I've been to and the food was amazing as well 100% from me
Really loved the location! The building used to be a cinema that was used in the 1940s. You basically sit in the old picture house either in the balcony area or at the bottom.
