"Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The Colliers Rugeley offers fantastic food and a superb drinks range within a modern environment. Our name comes from the historic Leahall Colliery which was situated nearby, and we're close to Birches Valley Visitors Centre, Lichfield Cathedral and Shugborough Hall. We're the ideal venue for family get-togethers, romantic evenings or meals with friends, as all of our guests are welcomed with a warm friendly smile and amazing service!"

Brilliant place. Have to say we're impressed. Camping not far away and accidentally popped in for a breakfast. Warm Welcomed even though we didn't book a table. They do an offer, kids eat free with every adult breakfast buffet. So if its one adult one kid you basically eat & drink bottomless for £5 each! We saved a lot of ££. But that's not it! The food was amazing, fresh and cooked nice. Best hash browns I've ever had. The choice was huge too! But, again, that's not it the staff was brilliant and pub's atmosphere awesome too. I'd give 6 stars if could! Vegetarian options: Per request, no fuss
Had a lovely all you can eat breakfast. Really nice food and good value for money. Staff were nice and helpful.
Typical buffet type breakfast. All you can eat. Good quality, just the eggs a little overdone but they always are on a buffet Parking: Plenty of parking
Had an all you can eat breakfast with friends. Food was plentiful, warm when it should have been cold when it should have been. Had cereal, toast, pastries, yoghurt, fruit and the usual buffet hot breakfast items. Fried eggs are standard any other eggs you can ask to be specially prepared. There is ample fruit juices, tea and coffee. You pay upfront and are generally left alone to eat unless you ask for anything when the staff spring into action. Recommended. We arrived at 9am and left after 11am. A lovely, sociable and relaxing start to the day. Wheelchair accessibility: The tables have ample room to accommodate an electric wheelchair. There is room to move around. There are disabled designated parking spots next to the door.
Nice warm welcome on entry and on asking for a table for 4 people we were informed there was a wait for meals due to a long table party with about 14 guests. We agreed and shown to our table the still had to wait another 10mins to order drinks and then ordered food on arrival of drinks. On arrival of food we found the portions were small for the price which my sisters partner ordered cottage pie which arrived with small amount of peas and small pot of gravy which was not filling enough. Plus my sister and brother ordered the beef Ale pie with chips & peas and again small pot of gravy and I had the battered Haddock small portion of chips with tea spoon full mushy peas. The only plus about the meal came to us hot so for what we ate was over priced as me & my sister eat out at other venues and like to visit other venues each weekend to see which we would like to re-visit as our enjoyment Parking: Onside parking which was free as other venues charged unless the guests were not dining
Pro: Food that was delivered was good and prices were good as well. Cons: The big downside is the customer service. We have booked a table in advance ,we have been showed a table and no one came to us for 35 minutes, when one the young lads arrives to take the order he started by saying he didn’t know we were there , so obviously no clear communication among staff. We waited 58 minutes for drinks to be brought and 1 hour 20 minutes for mains to be served no starters ordered. When it came to desserts half of menu was unavailable which put us off ordering and choosing to leave instead. Lots of other tables around us arrived later than us, received their orders before us and paid before we could even enjoy the main. I wish we were white British , probably it would have made a difference.
Went for Sunday carvery, managed to get a table at short notice, we like to eat and go no waiting around - we were seated, and went up to the carvery within 15 mins which is very good for a Sunday. We ate, paid at bar and left. Food was nice, hot and fresh.
5 minutes from my house. Convenient when friends visit and stay in the adjacent Premier Inn and you want a bite to eat and a drink. Good menu food well presented and staff very polite and helpful. RecommendedFood: 4/5
Went with a large group for work and had a great time. Food was ordered beforehand via phone and arrived very quickly. Enjoyed the meals. Staff serving were brilliant.
Came for Sunday lunch, a warm welcome upon arrival, food was cooked lovely and bursting with flavours. The lady at the Carvery deck was lovely and friendly. Highly recommend to book as they do get busy but to be expected when the food is perfect. Will be back again soon.
