Starting with the overall experience... It was amazing! Price-quality-quantity ratio is 10/10 . The one in the picture is chicken with rice noodles, and I also had pork with rice and chicken noodle soup not all for myself but did get to try everything that was ordered. The rice and rice noodle + meat options had an upgrade of 2 crunchy spring rolls for 50p and the portion's original price was £7.50. Honestly the chicken was cooked marvelous, in both soup and rice noodles. It was juicy and flavours, almost melting in my mouth, with a dash of lime, seasoned perfectly and last touch of medium spiciness note: I asked for coriander as a topic too, but it was optional... The noodles had the right level of chewiness and the soup broth... The soup broth... It was one of the best broths I've ever tried, it was light, yet so flavourful... It didn't have that rich umami taste found in ramen... But it was so heartwarming and perfect for the weather, eating it lifted my spirits ... Even now hours later I'm still so happy that I ate it and think when I'll get the chance to go there and have some more again . If you are in the vicinity... It's a must try! P.S. the staff was friendly and nice too and there were tables on the side to eat there or if you want to have it take away... Vegetarian options: For vegetarian options I am definitely sure they had some spring rolls as well as some summer rolls, one with avocado and the other one... I can't recall what it was, but there were vegetarian options available for sure. Parking: Parking was at the nearby mall, John Lewis and few other parking spots in the vicinity. The parking was £1.40 per hour.
Rice noodles with pork was pretty good for a street food spot, definitely worth trying if you are around. The staff is welcoming and they prepared my dish in just a few minutes. The sticks were not very comfy thoughRecommended dishesRice Noodles with Pork
Had been meaning to visit this stall for ages and did so today, food was banging. Enjoyed vegetarian noodles and spring rolls, topped with cucumber, carrots, shallots, and more - tasty stuff. Looked on jealousy as someone else was tucking into a pork bahn mi, another excuse to come back again. Came back for the pork bahn mi, very tasty
Delicious street food at a fair price. We had the Rice with Pork which offered a very generous portion. You can add spring rolls for 50p and watch them cook in front of you. Will be returning
Authentic gem and a great find. Came across this place and caught my attention as it was clearly the busiest of all market stalls with a constant queue of people. After trying their food, I understand why! Food was cooked to order so was fresh and hot. I recommend the rice with pork. Banh mi was also great. Could do with more tables and chairs but only because it is so busy, but for all the right reasons.
Ordered 4 summer rolls at a very reasonable £2 each, prawn/avo, pickled carrot, mint, rice noodles wrapped in rice paper withhome made satay dip absolutely unreal snack for a boiling hot day definitely coming back
Was nearby for work and thought I'd grab some food. Looked at the reviews and they were very good so thought I'd give it a try. Absolutely delicious. I had the chicken and rice with 2 veggie spring rolls for 50p extra. All of it amazing. I even loved the delicious carrot and cucumber salad accompaniment. Will definitely come here again if I'm ever local.
