Good food and drinks in a great location! Have been a few times and never disappointed. It's not cheap but quality is high. We went with a group this evening and my order was missed. The server was quick to rectify this once I pointed it out and automatically took a portion of the price off. Would have preferred to have not had this issues but they dealt with it promptly and professionally.

A mixed bag when it comes to a Bavarian eating experience. The schnitzel was tough and not presented well. For an Austrian guest not acceptable. The sausages and mash were nice and the roast pork also good. The place is packed on Saturday night and the benches and tables are so close together that people are forced to get friendly with folks sitting behind them. Also quite pricey as they charge for the dining experience. Best visited in the summer as they have outside seating

Well worth booking a table in advance (booked a table for Sunday on a Friday), and it seemed everyone had the same idea to do so! Excellent service, with attention to detail and extremely good camera skills for those all-important family photos - from both the waiters and waitresses. Agree that prices are high, but this is offset by huge portion sizes. Extremely well-maintained restrooms. My only qualms would be that there should be more German/Austrian music in the background, and that the beers could be colder :)

I’ve been to this place on a couple of occasions before, and I really liked the experience of German cuisine. However, I’ve been trying to find time to go again and I couldn’t until last night with a couple of friends, we arrived at 8.43pm and we were welcomed by one of the staff by saying “ the kitchen is now closed” !! I was actually so disappointed and surprised, I asked her when is it normally closed “ do you shut at 8 or 8.30pm then?!”. She replied by saying “ whenever we finish, today we were busy so we closed early”, “so you close whenever you want at random times? She replied, yes.” Knowing the opening hours of the restaurant between 5.30-10pm, I was shocked that a kitchen finsihes serving food in 3 hours. We simply left and went to the restaurant across the road. I’m not sure how professional this attitude is and also how common it is to close your kitchen whilst you still have few hours till closing !! Well, I’m a very frequent restaurant attender and this never happened to me before.
