There’s a cluster of at least three Spoons around here and this is by far the grandest. Top rate friendly service as per usual. Limited outdoor seating at the front, more at the back but nothing great.Service: 5/5
Came here last week and it was a great place, music was great and the staff were excellent. Proper decent spoons.
We were the first people through the door on a Sunday morning, so even by the time we left it was only sober people having breakfast or a coffee. Lots of space, decent food, friendly enough staff one guy was a bit frosty, but was OK after we were polite to him. It's Spoons. You get what you pay for. Would we go back? AbsolutelyFood: 4/5
Nice pub spread over two floors and some cosy seating corners including a small beer garden. The ambience was however I think they should keep the place more clean, maintained and a little more lit up. I sat on the upper floor near the bar, and felt a bit in dark. Also, the food was not like what we get in other spoons. The chicken wings were so dry and tasteless, I had to leave back a few for the first time.
There are 3 spoons in town within walking distance of each other. This one is the most lively of the lot. Decent atmosphere even at Noon on a weekday as well!Food: 4/5
Very very very very loud music. I thought my head would explode. We didn't bother trying to have a conversation as wouldn't be able to hear above the din..People near shouting toneach other to be heard. People go to spoons to eat and socialise. How can that happen with noise. Disappointing. If your not a head banger, steer clear. We would have stayed to have a meal and more refreshments, but couldn't bear the horrendous noise of music.
Large English Breakfast I was very surprised how good the large English Breakfast was having read many reviews about the wether spoon’s pub grub The service from the female staff was excellent and the attention to you needs during my stay was A1 The Atmosphere was also very good Would definitely recommended this pub Vegetarian options: Good option Parking: Not much to say you park you pay its Bristol Wheelchair accessibility: Good for the first floor
I give this 1star because I've had fantastic food here when I just needed a walking aid,unfortunately I now require a wheelchair so this bar is no longer accessible to me...everywhere is steps inside the bar ...the irony of a disabled loo didn't escape me....!!!! There's a back entrance that's flat with a ramp into the pub but unfortunately it's locked so not accessible from the outside unless you have someone to go up the front steps and find a member of staff to go and open it!!!!!! I've never felt more disabled or excluded than I did trying to get a meal here. So Beware if you have mobility issues this isn't an easy bar to negotiate your way around.
Food mediocre in the evening. Went for breakfast in the morning. Not great service. Hott choc machine not working and nobody bothered when it was reported. Breakfast not the best I've had at Wetherspoons but edible.Food: 3/5
Horrible racist bouncers! Refused entry claiming were too drunk we only just arrived in town my friend believed she left her ID in there night before and wanted to check. Never been to Lloyds 1 bar and will not be returning !! Disgusting behaviour
