Really enjoyed a pint of Bass in this comfortable city-centre pub. Staff were very pleasant and appear to be getting used to offering the now compulsory table service. Have lived in Nottingham off and on for over 40 years and never visited this pub before, I know they won't havce to wait so long for my second visit!
Nice place with a good selection of ales on offer from Navigation Brewery. Lack of seating can be an issue, as it does tend to get rather busy. Popular place.
Nice pub. Very laid back atmosphere. Great local beers from the Navigation brewery. Good choice of food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
Very nice traditional pub. It felt good to go somewhere so well run, comfortable and that actually felt like a real public house! Fantastic home cooked food, a few meal deal evenings. All round it was a very nice unexpected surprise.... A proper good change from cardboard cloned chain pubs!

Great traditional pub not many of those about these days. Good selection of drinks & great food especially the Sunday Roast.
