Came here tonight, finally, after many envious looks through the window for my birthday. One word needed, Amazing! This place wonderful little establishment couldn’t do anything to improve the experience. Food is fantastic, and if you’re on the fence for wine pairings - don’t be - do it! Fantastic service from a team who really know how to look after you and who really know both their menu and supporting wine list inside out. A great treat, highly recommend!

Great place with inventive & clever food, can highly recommend for an interesting meal out. The concept is that they have one 4-course set menu (no choice) which also comes with a few palate cleansers between courses and can be paired with wine. (You can tell them about allergies in advance.) Positives: 1. Very tasty and intriguing dishes - definitely not your run of the mill food. 2. It's a cosy space. 3. We also liked the sound-track in the toilet. Downsides: 1. The lack of flexibility wouldn't have bothered us normally, but we came with a child and couldn't even order half portions or anything else. (We ended up sharing the adult food with the child, which was fine, and the restaurant didn't seem to mind that they had lost one cover). 2. Inevitably, some dishes worked better than others. We were a little disappointed by the dessert: the tough biscuit base didn't have much to recommend it, though the sorbet it was topped with was great. 3. Completely not their fault, but we came during the mini 'beast of the east' cold spell in mid-March and the food really didn't fit the weather. We were frozen and the food didn't warm us up. The only warmth on offer was a tiny glass of mint tea/ coffee at the end. In the scheme of things, the niggles we had were far outweighed by the positives - we'll come again, just need to save some more £££.

I had heard good things, but this was excellent! The food was super, well balanced and clever and decent enough portions (though you might still be peckish if you were super hungry). The food matched the wine perfectly and I was impressed form the menu changes every week. Yup go with that the service is friendly, fun and attentive, really couldn't ask for more! Think this restaurant is going to be on the up and will do well over the next few years!

A really good menu that changes regularly. The food was very tasty small portions but we were also given a few tasters in-between as surprise extras so we certainly didn't leave hungry. It's a small space so best for small groups or couples.

I understand why they have a Michelin star.. it is well deserved. great experience and phenomenal service. Love the concept of just being fed everything without even looking at a menu. Excellent drinks as well. Small but intimate location with a great atmosphere.
