Friendly, welcoming staff at an all seated music lounge. The atmosphere is wonderful. We saw Mo Pleasure and Jazzy Phoenix who were on fire, so the music itself could not have been better. The sound was perfectly balanced. The stage lighting was exactly what you would want to build atmosphere. We had delicious Pizza which the venue orders in from the local Pizzeria. Good value food, reasonably priced drinks. Oh, and did I say how welcoming the staff were?
Gorgeous, small quaint little piano bar. We attended a Hannah Grace concert, and from the minute we entered, we were made to feel really welcome. They offer table service, which was great because we could just concentrate on the music. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive and kept our drinks flowing. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Be aware you do have to go down a flight of stairs to enter the premises. But once you are inside, the venue is on one floor. The venue is clean, tidy, and well loved, with clean and cared for toilets. I wouldn't have thought of visiting before the concert, but i will definitely be back!
A narrow entrance, deceptive opening up to a beautifully decorated time period when jazz was jazz. I could see myself smoking a cigarette with a glass of whiskey in a dimly lit hall, the piano swinging as the saxophone sings. Table service...bar is available at the back. I love this cosy and intimate venue, it’s such good fun! Such talented musicians, made so personal with the audience. James and the team are very welcoming, the drinks are reasonably priced for London and the pizzas are yummy! I just had my birthday there for the second year running and it didn’t disappoint. So worth the trek into London and we are already planning our next visit! Thanks so much for a great night!
We enjoyed our visit with the performances. It is a small space so you can get quite close to the stage. One star off due to the very limited choices of food. They ordered pizzas for you, but no gluten-free options and only one snack. The staff were friendly though.
What an absolutely amazing night we had! One of the famous Portuguese singers- Madalena Alberto was performing with her soft and admirable voice. Also, the staff were super, and later, the evening continued with some piano performance which was a plus! I would highly recommend this lovely venue for an evening out.
Love this place, great cozy and inclusive atmosphere. Super friendly staff who go the extra mile for the customers. Awesome gigs with various artists and fun sing along piano nights. Love their pizza too! Last but not least, their non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails are bombastic.
I've waited more than 30min for someone to take my drink order otherwise nice place ,nice atmosphere.Definitely recommend it.
fantastic small jazz club ... we saw Karen Lane .. wow she was awesome .. its a small venue that seats about 60 people .. it has no kitchen but you can order pizza that will be delivered to you and it was ok pizza 6 out of 10 ... but the music was great and loved the intimate atmosphere .. do not hesitate to go here .. you will not regret it
After years of going no past and not only going in once previously for drinks but couldn’t stay for the live music. Finally popped by and had a great night at the Vin’s Night In with some amazing musicians who I’m happy to listen to again live. Shame about the end when an intoxicated group came in and started to talk really loudly over the live music. But nevertheless, still had a great time and was lovely to have an interactive evening where they had a drawing competition along side the live music and some jokes. I hope they continue running and bringing in the artists. Love live music because we hear the emotions of the artists when singing their songs. They have a lovely selection of drinks and cocktails, which we very much enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and attentive too, checking if anyone needs to order. Also happy to accommodate for those that turned up early for a drink. They have pizza ordered in with a local place and although I didn’t have any they did look and smell delicious! So maybe something I’ll try next time! Thank you and keep it up guys!
