Beautiful restaurant, amazing atmosphere, and great food! Came here to celebrate a graduation and had an extremely enjoyable experience. The table ordered different food plates, including duck, steak, salmon, salad and two steak tartare and everyone agreed that the food was extremely delicious, and fresh and one could taste the quality of the produce. In the end, the staff kindly brought a plate with a Congratulations written on it, which was a very thoughtful touch. They also have an amazing cocktail menu, I recommend the Hibiscus Margarita. The service was speedy and the staff were polite. The venue is simply the highlight, they had a live band playing beautiful jazz tunes that really added to the overall experience. Would recommend!
Beautiful location in the cellar. Actually it’s huge with live music, art deco plastered ceiling it feels like Paris in the roaring 20ties. The service was excellent with the most attentive and fun waiter we had so far. The food was good although my flat iron was not the best meat I ever had. The whole experience adds up so I would definitely recommend this place.
Great restaurant, the staff are so helpful and friendly, especially the doorman who was really helpful. It's in the heart of Piccadilly Circus just under Piccadilly lights. It has a cafe bar on Glasshouse street and then if you go downstairs the Brasserie Zedel is there, which is amazing. It's such an elegant restaurant and the interior decor is amazing. It's such a great atmosphere. It's better the the Savoy and The Ivy, it is full of so much history and character it used to be the Atlantic Bar and Grill in the Regents Palace Hotel where I used to stay in to 80's and 90's. They have kept it the same and it's just so stunning. They took over in 2011. The food is amazing, I had steak and chips and blackcurrant and chocolate ice cream for dessert. They have a fixed 2 or 3 course menu. For £16.95 or £19.95. I had tea with it which was nice and refreshing. The food was served quickly and by a lovely waitress, who was looking after so many covers, efficiently and easily. It was so busy at lunchtime and they had a band playing. The manager who has been there 3 years and was so knowledgeable about the restaurant and building, said it is really busy in the evenings especially with the band playing. It's such a great atmosphere I didn't want to leave, they make you feel so welcome. There is all the Crazy Crozs cabaret bar which has didn't artists on every night. There is also an American Bar, for all your cocktails before and after a show. It's a great place to have a meal before or after a show, or for a special occasion like a birthday celebration. A very good location right near the tube station. It's one of London's highlights, brilliant restaurant. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back again and again. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is all wheelchair accessible, you go in through the bar on the ground level and then take the lift to the restaurant downstairs.
Finally get to dine here with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Absolutely amazing dinner. Grand dining hall with live jazz music, attentive service even on a busy night, fine wines, very fresh and well cooked dishes. All of us were very happy with our dining experience here. Definitely will return and reservation is highly recommended. One thing to note; it is quite hot and stuffy inside the dining hall during summer days.
I dined here tonight for my 1 year anniversary with the Mrs. What can I say? Excellent experience all around. Lovely chilled live music. Food was amazing, including some new dishes that I had never tried before. Staff was very helpful. Big shout out to my boy Omar. I sincerely recommend he gets double his current salary and a knighthood. Absolutely phenomenal service - quick, helpful and comfortable. I’m thinking of inviting him to our second anniversary. Obviously on the pricier side of restaurants but highly recommended
the ambience was good from the terraceif the weather permits, the terrace tables might be the first to be full main floor is downstairs, jazz band playing in the background and the food was authentic French confirmed by a French friendFood: 4/5
Difficult to decide which one is best: food or atmosphere. The building itself is already a must visit, summed with lovely jazz playing turned into being a truly experience. Also, they offer a 3 courses meal + wine option which was a great deal, delicious and super well served.Food: 5/5
Got there early as we didn't have a booking. Opulent environment with great service. I asked for an English menu, as they give you one in French. Steak tartar with egg yolk was divine. I cannot remember or pronounce the name of my main, but it was a carnivores delight. Leaving my partner with food envy. Highly recommend.Food: 4/5
This place is like something from the French resistance. Below ground, fantastic decor. Staff highly attentive but did seem to lose interest once you got past the first two courses. Food was excellent, plenty of choice and very well presented. Extensive wine list.Food: 5/5
It was nearly 10pm when we got there after having dinner elsewhere. It was perfect for us to sit down with sparkling rose and chat in the bar by the entrance. Posters and photographs welcome the guests to the art deco style dining hall. We had dinner a few years ago and it was almost like having dinner in a local bistro in France. Escargot and other French delicacies are my favourites!
