this was awful. Eating the prawn ball was like chewing a bullet, the lady cut the phone off before even telling me the price or Time to deliver, I remember, a few years back, this was the best Chinese in town! But now it is nothing but a poor quality food via prices.. steer clear of this friends.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal, the food was delivered piping hot and before the quoted time had elapsed. Phoenix has always been a personal favourite. Highly recommend.
This takeaway shop appears to operate with two different names but from the same address xizai Kitchen and phoenix house. -Salt and chili ribs are way too dry and tough and not well balanced in flavour. -Sweet and sour chicken was not too bad -Hot and sour soup too watery. But good ratio of meat in the portion size.
Ordered from here on uber eats. Miss described the food. Spare ribs were dried and shrivelled. 12 spring rolls for 2 people and not much else in the mixed hors. Crispy chilli beef was not crispy in the slightest - just chewy. Not enough chicken in the sweet and sour chicken. Wrote a note to not have any peppers in the sweet and sour chicken and as the photo clearly shows, it was covered in peppers. Took 1hr and 30 minutes to arrive despite uber claiming it would take 15-30 minutes. When I called they said it would be 10 minutes longer and took 30 minutes more. Would never order from here again and would appreciate a refund for the totally shambolic food that I received and could not really eat as it was barely edible and very low standard.
I always enjoy my order from here on Uber eats. Generous portions, tasty food and because there is no tracking when I’ve called up they are friendly. There is a good selection between mild to spicy dishes also which is great.
Food was good and hot. The takeaway was tremendously large and super yummy! We were travelling and we will be back next time. Thanks
Encountered bad experiences twice from this restaurant and I will never order from them again even if they are the last restaurant on earth...tasteless dried spareribs, tasteless white rice they called fried rice, tasteless shrimps in fact nearly all their food is tasteless and also will prepare and send you food you didn't ask of, also they lack good customer service....very rude. Its so unfortunate as my family and I were very hungry and we received the wrong order, please don't waste your time or money.

good was not bad, the lovely old lady at the counter was really nice, but the actual shop itself was very run down, not sure how often they clean it as there were cobwebs everywhere, place needs an overhaul and a very good clean
One of the worst Chinese takeaways I have ever had, the special fried rice was made with boiled rice instead of egg fried rice, the salt and pepper chips were just chips with salt and pepper on them hahaha, definitely avoid.
