We went for our first shop as kitten owners and the lady who helped us with getting the right things was so lovely and helpful. Didn’t try to rip us off and was honest about everything. Great customer service.
A fairly standard branch of Pets at Home, products to suit most pet needs, cats, dogs, birds, rodents, fish, etc. The store's a bit smaller than some branches I've visited but well stocked and tidy. Prices are fairly standard for Pets at Home, not the cheapest or most expensive. The aquatics section is small, a good range of chemicals, treatments, tools, etc. The range of fish is also small compared to a lot of Pets at Home branches. Mollies, Platys, Guppies, some fighters and tetra. Want something more varied, check out local aquatics dealers. Though Pets at Home have just started adding some new fish to their offering panda corydoras, apple snails, etc.
Stay well clear from the pets a home as they are selling wood shavings and the wool which can affect the hamsters health badly as it affects their skin and respiratory problems and airways problem and they can't make stuff clear.The manger was rude !!
