Bought new guinea pig because one of ares has died. Lady who delt with us was amazing so helpful and friendly and spent time and listen to us in past we had bad experience with the store. She did all the checks before we were able to take him so professional way she handled him. Thank you. We got him home he was lovely and relaxed we were very surprised because it's all new for him.
I went to the Ipswich branch to buy 2 female guinea pigs, which they didn’t have, only males. The lovely lady Tessa was extremely helpful and called other branches to find us females which we eventually got from Sudbury. This review is to say that Tessa was extremely helpful and friendly, thank you Tessa!
Went there to find out if they have any good microchip cat flaps. Service was quick but not informed about their products at all. The lady came up to help me to choose one, but when asked questions relating to sizes, she had no idea about anything. She just pointed on the flaps and read what it was said on the labels. I've already done that. I needed someone to check on the system if they have any in stock and bigger ones instead. I came back home and had a look online instead and ordered one it was so much easier. Next time, I'll pack my basket on the app and collect it instead of coming in and asking for advice. Lovely clean store and pets looks completely happy and chunky.
It's probably the best place to go for your all your main animal needs under one roof... They have a good range of dietary options to suit most requirements and all other aspects of pet care including a vets. Staff were helpful and prices reasonable especially because you can collect coupons through their app
There was a dead hamster in a cage with three other hamsters in the cage. When questioned about this, we were dismissed and didn’t even get to finish the sentence. The hamster had very laboured breathing and wasn’t moving. I feel very sorry for this hamster. It may say ‘pets at home’ but the pets here don’t have a home…
Store is in a good location surrounded by other stores you could make use of. Staff are friendly and willing to help offering their suggestions and expertise on animals. If your pet has an accident and the staff don't see, please tell them, they will not tell you off but will clean it up.
Staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, they really helped us with picking a suitable tank, all accessories and advising on fish, timings to place them and which were best together, amazing service! We look forward to returning.
Love that you can take your dog or cat into shop it has wide walkways great for wheelchair access good range of items for most pets although the reptile area is a bit limited
Good local pet store in Ipswich, with most things you need to care for your pet. Good parking.
