In mid may we took out GiGi down to see the vet after she had an accident in the garden. She collided with a pampas plant while chasing her ball. The plant blades cut her eye, deeply. We thought she would have to have her eye removed as she developed a severe ulcer, covering most of her eye.nnWorking with Ana and Vanessa, for weeks, we had one round of surgery to try and encourage the eye to heal. I applied eye drops every 2 hours, day and night, to try and save her eye. There have been ups, downs, blood sweat and tears... But I am thrilled to say that we have managed to save her eye!nnCan't thank the team enough, especially for the banter and eye healing dances that you have performed behind the scenes. Our girl is back to her normal mental self. Thank you!
I asked a member of staff for more information about the rabbits they have but they just walked off mid throught the conversation to talk to his co-worker at the till and never came back to me. That member of staff looked like he couldn't be bothered or asked to do his job anymore. Seems very unprofessional .
I took Cali Rose 5yrs she asked to hold a worm. John was very obliging and knowledgeable about the well fare of the reptiles. She held the maggots, and was so pleased thanks John
Visited Bury st Edmunds branch today picked up everything I needed and was served by a very nice and attentive man , when it came to pay the chap asked if I had any vouchers to which we scanned one but a second one wouldn’t scan to cut a long story short he rang for the manager who stated couldn’t use other vouchers due to first counter acting the second to which I questioned but was told that is how it is .nMy main reason for only one star was when the Manager walked away from the till he turned to the cashier and said “it’s bloody basic maths idiot” but unbeknownst to him my partner was the person being served on that till .nObviously being told this prompted this review , how unprofessional and rude this was of someone who is supposed to set an example for all his colleagues, someone like this should not I my opinion be allowed out on the shop floor if that is his opinion of customers just for questioning something, unfortunately I didn’t get his name otherwise would have named and shamed him
Always Friendly staff with a huge variety of products and expertise knowledge. Place is clean and always a pleasure to visit. And if it's not in stock always happy to order it or let you know when next delivery is due and if its likely to be on it.
