I cannot begin to express my gratitude to all at Suffolk Pet Crematorium. Everyone we spoke to was so kind, caring, understanding and respectful at such a difficult time for me and my family. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending SPC. The place, the team and the service are second to none. Many, many thanks for all you did that day.
This is such an amazing place run by truly thoughtful people. We lost our beloved 21 year old cat last Friday and cannot believe how fortunate we were to find this crematorium - the peaceful atmosphere, caring staff and so on, I just sensed that we made the right decision. Our boy came back home in the beautiful urn and we're sure that he's going to rest in peace with us. We all are so grateful for everything they did!
Such a helpful, kind and friendly service at a time where our hearts were completely shattered. I called them up and asked for their help, after our little lady had been sent to heaven we took her straight there and picked her up less than 24hours later as we just wanted to bring her home. This gave us such comfort. They were kind and sympathetic and everything was as easy and straightforward at a time where we couldn’t even think straight. She is with us now in a beautiful urn we chose there. We have some Forget me nots from therm which is such a beautiful touch. From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you Bill and Graham!!
Excuse the length of this review, I am late in posting as I have been struggling with the passing of my dear boy but wanted to encourage anyone who is having doubts about cremation and/or about which business to use then please choose The Suffolk Pet Crematorium, you truly will not regret it. We first came across them when we were researching companies after finding out our boy had lymphoma but chose them due to the gleaming reviews from friends who had previously used them. I first contacted them when my boy’s lymphoma came back and he had a stroke to give them as much notice and discuss the process; they could not have been more helpful or kind. I struggled to say it out loud on the call but was greeted with patience and kind words whilst I cried. My boy somehow recovered from this and went on to have another month or so of good days, then came the day we’d been dreading, his breathing deteriorated rapidly late one Friday and we made the decision to lay him to rest. I spoke with Graham who truly could not have been more helpful, he helped create a plan, giving advice and went out of his way to assist us in any way that he could. We took our boy on the hour journey the following morning where we were greeted by Graham, who took our boy in his bed to a room where we could say our final goodbye. We were in no way rushed, it was calm and peaceful, he gave us all the time we needed even after I thought I had said my final goodbye but needed to go back once more and have a bit more time. He was kind with his tone and words, he explained we could wait or leave and he would contact us when it was time to collect him; we decided to walk around the lake of remembrance. The place was so tranquil, a truly stunning place especially as the sun was shining. My husband and I spent our time on the bench watching the fish jump out of the water whilst discussing our fondest memories of our boy. We continued to walk all round the lake stopping every so often to take in the view and continuing to discuss all our favourite times with our boy; it was truly the perfect way to spend such a horrific time. We eventually strolled back and waited until our boy was ready to come home. Our boy came home in a named box with a certificate of his cremation in a bag. Graham had even managed to get the metal pieces our boy had put in when he had both cruciate ligaments go which was fascinating to see. The entire situation is one no pet owner wishes to be in, but this business could not have done anything else to make us feel more at ease with the situation and process. I truly cannot recommend them enough. I hope this review gives anyone that reads it the encouragement needed to help them make such a hard decision, during a truly hard time when it’s the last thing you want to be thinking about. Thank you Suffolk Pet Crematorium.
I am so thankful to Bill and his staff for allowing my children and I to visit the Lake of Remembrance today. My 6 year old daughter has been absolutely heartbroken over the sudden loss of her best friend a few months ago and visiting today really helped her gain clarity and closure. The property is secluded, peaceful, well kept, and beautiful. We were given all the time we needed so I could talk with the kids about the beauty of returning the ashes back out into nature, take a walk around the lake, and leave some flowers in honor of our kitty. Thank you, Bill, for your kindness and understanding.
We had to say goodbye to our special boy Oscar last week. It all happened very quickly. The team were brilliant so kind, accommodating and respectful. An awful situation was made bearable by everyone involved. Today we collected Oscar who was in a beautiful oak box with his name engraved on the top a condolence card and a packet of Forgot Me Not seeds. Thank you so much.
I recently lost my best friend & soul mate. I can't being to express my gratitude at how compassionately we were treated by Bill & his team. They looked after my boy with such dignity and made our final goodbyes so comforting. It was exactly what I needed. And then to spend time reflecting at the lake of remembrance brought a sense of peace. The best experience I've ever had, by far. Thank you so much for everything.
This is the 4th time we have used Suffolk Pet Cremation. It's sad to think the only time we see these wonderful caring people is when we lose one of our beloved pets. The service and settings are second to none. We have been helped through these hard times by Graham, Holly and today we met Richard. All wonderful people and terribly patient and understanding. The crematorium is set in a beautiful farm setting . It has a gravel drive out the front for parking which is a little difficult if you are in a wheelchair. There is a step at the front door which would be climbed reasonably easily in a chair, however they are modernising at the moment and disabled access is on the to do list. The crematorium also offers a lake of remembrance a short walk up the lane which sadly would be challenging but not impossible to a wheelchair user. The lake sits at the top of the hill and offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and a very peaceful place to sit and remember your lost one. I highly recommend Suffolk Pet crematorium over using the vet to deal with your loss.
Sadly we lost our beautiful boy Olly, aged 14 on Friday 26th, and we can’t thank the team at Suffolk pet crematorium enough, I personally spoke to bill the morning Olly past away, and he couldn’t have been more helpful and compassionate and the lovely lady that took care of us and Olly, her empathy and kindness put us at ease and we are all very grateful for the personal touch, from the time he arrived to the morning after. Thank you much appreciated x
What a wonderful place to go, the staff here are so respectful and welcoming! They offer wonderful services for your loved ones. They are happy to talk to you and so understand during the worse thing any pet owner has to go through highly recommend thank you so much guys
