The staff here offer a superior level of customer service. They have a genuine interest in your pets need and offer advice where needed. The products are well priced and there is plenty of choice. This will be our "go to" shop for our pet needs.
Extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff here. Always happy to help here with a smile. Visited again this morning 10th June2024, for some flea products, again the female staff member was extremely helpful and professional. Good to see top customer services at this branch.
I went to the store for the first time last week to basically buy one of everything for a new rescue cat that was landing the very next day. Staff member Ollie was absolutely brilliant and helped me with all my questions. He also suggested i sign up for the app to get a new member 10% discount. I would highly recommend this store. I left with everything I needed.
Signed up for subscription service for specific urinary cat food, but the food was never delivered to the shop when it was supposed to be. They'd have the food in stock, on their shelves, but would not give it to me unless I paid for it again at the higher, no subscription, price, and then I would still have my order, which would arrive who knows when. I felt I was polite even though upset and expressing my frustration to the staff, but I think I hurt the staff's little baby feelings. Subscription cancelled and now happily using alternative shops. Some of the staff are lovely and very helpful.
Really lovely helpful staff in the Hove store, they didn't have what I was looking for but they took their time to advise me where I could get it. Thank you for being lovely staff as it really makes a difference to our local high street
Really nice collection. The prices of some items are cheaper compared to other pet shops. Staff are very friendly and suggestive. Still they seem like are running low staff as you can’t seem not morethan 1 or 2 of that whole store.
Good selection of items for pets, especially cats and dogs. Purchasing animals from them is not something I would advise unfortunately, I have homed multiple rats and 2 rabbits from this store and the rats passed away due to illness unusually fast most likely due to dodgy breeding. The rabbits are mostly alright but I would be cautious if buying a pet from here. Their fish are great, I bought 5 and they lasted 3 years!
We visited Pet at Home in order to add some babies to our home so we went for some gorgeous little goldfish! Matt was so lovely in helping us choose our little babies and helping choose the correct food, also how and when to feed them!
Went to buy some Renal cat food for our 14yr old. Also queried with the very helpful assistant whether they could recommend some food for our Sproodle who has decided to stop eating his dry food. Now trying something else
Always super helpful and really easy to shop around. Be prepared to wait if you're buying animals though, the process takes a few moments to take your details and make sure you're briefed on the basic care and dietary needs of any animal you are purchasing. Make sure to have a look online as well to help with small details like cage sizing and suggested toys as the choice can be quite broad in-store. Animals here are always in fairly good health due to the on-site vet, so don't worry about pre-existing conditions or illness here. The animals always seem to be in fairly good spirits and there is also an adoption section for those mostly rodents in need of a new home! If you visit, be sure to check if any of the animals up for adoption might be suitable for you!
