Please do not take your designer shoes here....my Valentino soles have been ruined. The sole was replaced with a really thick sole and it was a completely different colour. Also after 1 wear came apart, had to send back to Valentino for a full repair....Should have done that in the first place.
Unbeatable shoe refurbishment service and the place to go for expert leather care advice and products. My boots look fantastic and are much more comfortable after being resoled, with new laces included in the price.
Tried for ages to get my boots back for a simple resole to be told one of a number of excuses. Eventually told that my boots couldn't be resoled after he'd already taken the sole off! Nice one! Wouldn't offer a refund because he'd 'already paid for the materials'. He kindly offered to give me back the upper of my boots. Nice one! Very kind! The shop, the owner, the whole establishment is a joke. I'd like to add that during my extensive time spent queueing in the shop, the owner would be rattling off excuses to other customers as to why their shoes weren't ready. It angers me that this shop is still running. Please do give up your day job.
The shop has provided my worst retail experience. My shoes have been with him for over 18 months. I've been unable to get hold of them. Silly excuses were given in the past and it look like they have lost my shoes. People of Sheffield look for another store.
Outstanding shoe repairs. Friendly and professional staff. Had various shoe's repaired and always finished to the highest standard. Always get great advice on how to look after my shoes. They sell amazing shoe care products that are the best on the market. I trust them 100% with my shoes and would not go anywhere else.Thank you Peters for making my shoes look amazing!
The worst experience retail shop in Sheffield. Try to find another shop otherwise you will hear silly excuse. Do not waste your time and your money. Since before first lockdown till now, I could not get respond from them,I still ask them,when you give my shoes back?
Great service, fast and surprisingly cheap! On top of this when I explained I was going away they were happy to keep my shoes ready for me free of charge. Will 100% use them again and highly recommend to anyone who asks, as I already have done to several friends!
Nightmare experience at Peters - do not use!!! I took my best shoes into the store to be reheeled. I was told it would take 2 days, but after 2 weeks of trying to get them back, I was told they'd lost them! They'd posted my shoes to another store in another part of the country and said they were too busy to look for them! I begged them to get my shoes back for me heel or no heel until they finally admitted they couldn't find them. They gave me a replacement pair, but refused to refund me the money I'd paid for the new heel! When I asked they argued with me and were very rude barely apologising for losing my shoes. I'll never use them again and would advise everyone avoids them as well!
Excellent customer service, competitive pricing on sundries, especially for a local business! Only the best quality products used and sold Saphir, Médaille d’or, etc I have had a pair of Loake’s rehealed for a bargain price, excellent workmanship. I also had a pair of shoes reglued and they lasted in the harsh British weather. Always extremely knowledgable and willing to help and go above and beyond! Have offered products from their own stock when I was running low David and his Mum do an excellent job here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Hats off!!
