Picked up my car on Saturday. What a nice experience. No time wasting, we just got the paperwork signed & that was it. Everything was ready. Quick look over the car with Arron & I was away. Thanks to Craig for all of his help. Also, the management here are very relaxed. My only suggestion for improvement would be to allow your salesman to make the alterations to the costs instead of running back & forth to the manager. It makes the process a little lumpy. They can always have the final figures checked. Thanks again.
Delighted with the service from Gary S in Dundee. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy every step of the way from test drive to purchase. I have bought, serviced and MOT’d my last 3 cars from Peter Vardy and received consistently excellent, honest and friendly service.
Avoid, avoid, avoid this dealer please! Shocking how bad this dealer is. Purchased a car for £20k had to wait nearly 3 weeks for it with lots of issues in those 3 weeks of no answers, lies and all sorts of stories. Went to collect car and it had not been cleaned or hoovered, previous owners crumbs etc on back seats, paintwork covered in scratches, interior door trim damaged from a repair they did that wasn’t required. Drive home and fuel light came on despite them apparently putting in £20 of fuel, cruise control and safety features not working. Reported that evening and told it would be 4 weeks for the car to get in as I need a courtesy car. 2 weeks later low coolant warning comes on and 2 days later I notice the front passenger tire is on the legal limit! I drove 50 miles for the service booking for the car and was told no courtesy car you will need to rebook for 2 weeks time! I have emailed asking for this to be dealt with now or full refund and nobody is replying to my emails or phone calls. Avoid this dealership at all costs! Trading standards, Black Horse finance both contacted regarding this dealer
Came to have a look for some ideas for my next car. Felt really relaxed speaking to Scott Devine who was more than happy to help even though I was clear I wasn't buying one that day, he was still more than happy to help me and wasn't pushy at all. For such a big decision, it was refreshing to not feel under any pressure. He should be commended for his customer service.
Came in to discuss changing my car and getting a new one. Garry at Peter vardy Dundee was looking after me and was very useful with information about my own car and also the potential new car. Everything got sorted easily and was very clear about what I was purchasing and the benefits of any extras on offer Great experience overall
Just purchased a car from Marley at the Dundee branch , fantastic service from herself and manager Gary not to mention the other staff who were there on hand to help. Made car buying easy and enjoyable and a good few laughs along the way too.
Went in to have a nosey at some cars.. well we ended up buying a car. Miguel was great, very friendly, made us feel at ease... Ross was...well... I have no words... although he did let me sing over the tannoy however not many customers in. Can't thank Miguel and the team enough... I love my new car.
Bought a car from here, I'd advise against anyone buying a car from them. Great customer service until you've bought the car.. then customer service is beyond poor, I was sold a car with faulty breaks and I'd say a dodgy mot seen as breaks are faulty and they gave it a years mot... shawdy work on repairs to the car and sold as a car they are proud to sell... one thats not safe to drive. Nothing promised is given once you sign on the dotted line. Certainly learnt a valuable life lesson, thanks for that much Peter vardy!!
*Car sold with outstanding safety recall and various other issues AVOID* I took delivery of my new car on the 25th of July. Up until that point, it was an incredibly smooth process and Saeed was very helpful, even delivering the car to myself in Banff and taking my part-exchange away. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end and now Peter Vardy Carz in Dundee couldn’t have been less helpful… During my first drive in the vehicle, the ‘Tyre Pressure Monitoring System’ started displaying a fault intermittently and the car also started displaying a warning about lack of screenwash. Straight away, I checked the tyre pressures, only to find 3 of the tyre pressures over inflated by about 10 psi. A 10 psi difference in the front tyres alone. There is also a very real safety risk in running with incorrect pressures It was instantly clear to me that this car hadn’t been checked properly before the handover. There is also an imperfection in the back driver side door was poorly covered up. After I voiced my concerns with Peter Vardy customer services, I quickly received a phone call from the claims handler in the Dundee branch, not much concern was shown to the issues but I was promised an additional vehicle health check at my local Carz branch in Aberdeen. This was the first time I was promised a prompt call back. After waiting 7 days, and not receiving any sort of correspondence, I raised my complaint with customer services again. I was phoned back again by the same female complaints handler, again I was promised a call back, this time by the end of the day. Again, no call back. I have phoned and emailed the branch and head office on several occasions, promised every time with a resolution for these issues but no direct correspondence from the so-called claims handler since the 10th of August. On 15th of August, I spotted an active safety recall using the DVLA online vehicle check. Further research found that this recall has been active since at least the 11th of July. Luckily, I managed to get this booked in promptly to John Clark BMW in Aberdeen who were able to fix the issue with the EGR cooler. I had to give up a full day for this to be completed, a 120 mile round-trip for me too! Not only is this morally wrong, but it is in fact illegal and very easy to check before handover. I’ve asked for clarification on this and again, no correspondence. To top it off, I still haven’t received a V5 for the car and that is now approaching 5 weeks. Surely a dealer as big as Peter Vardy is still not posting its new keeper slips away instead of using the online system?!? An absolute farce, with issues that can be fixed so easily. Peter Vardy Carz have been given more than plenty opportunities to resolve this and clearly do not care about their customers after the handover is complete.
